The most memorable moment is a tough one. Everything was a memorable moment from waiting to walk down the isle to saying I do, taking pictures for the first time as husband and wife to walking into the reception. I will always remember our first dance because I stepped on my dress but hubby disguised it as part of the dance routine.
We had your honeymoon a week before lockdown period in Uvongo. We tried most of the restaurants along the cost and had cocktails on the beach everyday.
I went for a more elegant look with a ballgown/a-line ivory dress, my shoes was soviet sneakers and minimalistic jewelry bought at lovisa. My makeup was done by makeup on fleek and hair by a friend.
We got married at Bell and Blossom wedding venue in pretoria. Some geusts spent the night.
I had no beauty treatments leading up to the wedding except for keeping my hairsalon appointment.
We had dark wooden tables with white tiffany chairs and pink serviettes. The flowers was pink roses with candles and greenery inside a white lantern. The service was in the garden of the venue.
The groom and groomsmen had khaki chinos and vellies with white button shirts. The groomsmen wore khaki suspenders and the groom had a light blue waistcoat.
The bridesmaids wore lace ivory shirts tucked into dusty pink skirts made of tulle with tommy tekkies.
I had the privilege of my cousin being my marriage offficer
Our special day was captured by Gareth digital Photography. He was very professional and listened to all my suggestions, he really went out of his way to capture every special moment of the day.
I organized every part of the whole day (with some help from my maid of honor and my mother)
The food was prepared by the venue and was delicious.
We did not have any dance lessons. The reception was full of laughter and fun from the first dance to the throwing of the bouquet and garter. We went to sleep at 2am.
