I must say, it was when I walked down the aisle and saw my soon to be husband shedding a few tears...I knew the love me but after that I had no doubt at all... although CoVid19 caused a lot of bumps for us we had a spectacular and fun wedding.
Yes we did we were so excited we haven’t gone on holiday for 3 years due to work... so we were looking forward to enjoy our first actual romantic getaway. We went to Blouberg Strand we were there for a day and a half, sadly gad to return due to the pandemic.
I went for a more vintage. My friend Yentl Snyman From Hollywood Hair came all the way from Hong Kong to do my hair and makeup. My dress was made by my best friend’s mom. I went for a soft nude pink dress as I have never been a fan of white. My shoes and accessories was either gifts or borrowed by friend and family.
I honestly did not even go for one facial.
I drank a lot of water at least 3L a day, I tried to eat healthy meals as far as I could. I basically just went on with my daily routine I did not want to change much about myself as I am loved by my person the way I am.
I had an amazing team “Envy weddings” that did everything for me. But I love plain and practical, green, white and gold was my color theme, the venue was rustic so it balanced out nicely.
I went for black infinity dresses wrapped to compliment them all, as they are all beautifully different. Also made by my best friend’s mom.
Envy weddings
We did everything ourselves, although we did not have much my mom and sister took of stickers of the water and added our labels that was made by my cousins wife. My mom and dad helped me with my confetti a day before the wedding which was a combination of leaves and flower petals. Me and my fiancé did the “thank you” gifts by ourselves.
Envy weddings made sure we had everything we needed. No we did not go to lessons we just enjoyed the moment we weren’t the best dancers but was still special to us.
