Garron and I have travelled a lot over the years and in so, our wedding became that of a destination wedding. Both as a couple for the past 6 years and prior to meeting, we spent many years living abroad. With the result, we had friends and family flying in from all over the world for our special day. The highlight of our day, was to experience the most magical event in a beautiful setting, both able to reflect on the many chapters of our life together and apart. Each person symbolized an era, not only in a time, but also a place on the map. This called for a very special wedding and union of loved ones. We are both also still blessed with our older family members, something to cherish forever. Everyone got on so well and the atmosphere was truly bursting with love.
Yes. We went to view one of the seven wonders of the world. The Victoria Falls, Zambia. We stayed at a beautiful resort called 'The Royal Livingstone' and experienced a helicopter ride with a magical view from the top. We had serene images of zebra and deer right beside us at our accommodation. It was truly a magical experience with a gorgeous sunset over the Zambezi River both on boat and the beautiful lodge.
Garron proposed in Italy and it was in a beautiful town called Carrara that we were planning our wedding from abroad, which was to be held in Paarl, South Africa. Our inspiration lay in two things; my diamond, and the White Italian marble, named Bianco Carrara. The color scheme was to be light neutral shades of grey, silvers and white. The theme ran beautifully through and the invitation requested that all guests were to wear the grey and silver tones. We wanted a wedding of elegance and sophistication. I had 6 bridesmaids and they wore a white silver organic silk halter slip dress which fell to the floor. The entrance to the aisle displayed two beautiful fountains. The falling water was a wonderful reflection of the silver silk dress as the girls walked down the aisle. My make-up was done by one of my bridesmaids, Tegan. My hair by the hairdresser, soft curls with a silver clip. I wore a pair of bridal pink Valentino studded heels. Earrings were my something borrowed by my aunt, Lynne.
We got married at Belair Pavilion, Paarl, South Africa. We stayed at the Country Estate on the property and our guests booked at the neighboring estates.
My mother booked me at the Lord Charles for my facial and back massage. The night before, one of my bridesmaids treated me to a manicure, pedicure and body wrap at the Westin Hotel in Cape Town.
I had white long stem roses. The bridesmaids had beautiful white babies breath with silver foliage. Their bouquets' were a perfect match to their dresses. We ordered rental furniture from Authentic Planning. Grey and White cocktail furniture, beautiful couches and ottomans and Cabana with white fabric.
The gents had light grey suits. Garron had a light grey suit by Georgio Armani. Marble stoned cufflinks, white and silver striped ties for the groomsman and a silver grey pattern tie for Garron. Brown shoes from Hugo Boss and White Shirts from Hugo Boss.
Dr. Robert Steiner. This man was remarkable. He made our ceremony so special and our guests are still talking about him today. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Robert Steiner who honestly added so much joy to our day.
Barclays Studio was both our Photographer and Videographer. Wonderful team and highly recommend.

One of our dearest friends, Jessica from 'Cake Me Away' designed our beautiful three tier silver and marble cake. It was a true depiction of our theme and we were blown away at how beautiful it was. The food was prepared by Salt and Pepper who prepared a main course meal with canapés for pre-drinks. We had a saxophone over the pre drinks 2 hour period and Jason from S&P made an incredible spread. There was a beautiful selection of canapés flooding through for a solid two hours before the guests were seated for the main meal.
Dj Dean was an amazing DJ. He took care of everything for us and he had the crowd tearing up the dance floor. A DJ is so important and we can honestly say we were so grateful to have him.
It is our passion to capture all the beautiful emotions of our bridal couple’s wedding day.
