Where to even begin with this as there were so many memorable moments on my wedding day. The highlight for me, was of course, saying I do to the love of my life.
Memorable moments would definitely be getting ready for the occasion with my mom and sisters (the emotions were beyond our control) & our first dance together as husband & wife.
We did go on Honeymoon.
We left for Mauritius on Monday the 3rd of February and stayed in Grand Baie, Cannonier Beachcomber Resort.
Was honestly a spectacular Honeymoon.
Wedding Dress: I purchased my wedding dress from Eurobride in Bryanston. My dress was an Italian custom couture gown. It was a White gown with Swarovski crystal hand stitched detail on the sweetheart with crystal and beaded straps with a draped chandelier back. My Wedding dress was named Miss Ayva as it was custom made for me in Italy.
Hair: I had my hair done as well as my moms hair, 11 bridesmaids & flowergirls hair all done at Chase Hair. They were absolutely phenomenal. I did an elegant upstyle with a curly bun to the side with curls draping down.
Make Up: I had my make up done as well as my moms make up, 11 bridesmaids & flowergirls make up all done at Face It. They were amazing. I did not do the typical bridal make up- I went with what I know suits me.
Jewellery: I purchased my diamante bracelet, earrings as well as my crown from Lovisa.
Lingerie: I purchased my Lingerie From Bras & Things which was a white lace bodysuit.
Shoes: I purchased my shoes from call it spring- it was a sandal with diamante.
We got married at our church- Our Lady Of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in which we also held the reception as well.
Guests were all from the same area so they could all go home to their own homes once the wedding was over which was convenient for all.
Health & Fitness: I stuck to my normal gym routine that I have been doing over 5 years which is mostly cardio. I ran everyday for 30 minutes as well as did the stepper machine for 30 minutes. I did my ab workouts at the end of every session as well.
Spa Treatments: I went for a massage a week before my wedding to calm my nerves.
Decor: Fairylights, purple lights, candelabra with diamanté’s draping down.
Flowers: was done by Ampflowers with Michael Serrao, He did a superb job, having blush pink roses, white flowers and lots of greenery incorporated into our bouquets.

Father Jean at Our Lady Of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, Mulbarton
Our Photographer, Candice Lee Botha was absolutely phenomenal. She captured every single moment and gave us back at least 2700 edited photographs. Her Prices were so affordable and you can see she has a passion for what she does.
Matthew, Our Videographer was always full of jokes and tried his best to always make us feel comfortable.
They were amazing and they actually work together.
We did not have a wedding planner due to the fact that I wanted to know what was happening, when it was happening, what time it was happening & how it was happening. Planning your own wedding, for me, was the best thing I could have ever chosen to do. I think I appreciated everything so much more than I would have just because I knew how much time and effort my husband, family and I put into the day.
We did not hire any vehichles for the day as we were blessed enough to have family & friends with unbelievable vehilcles.
The food was all made by the caterers from the church.
We had a combination of Lebanese & Portugues Cuisine.
Our wedding cake was made by the Baking Box.
I designed & printed all of our stationery.
We did not take dance lessons however we practiced the waltz every day nearly.
Our Dj - Dj Bubbles (Paul) was our DJ- He did the sound and lighting.
Everything looked beautiful-exactly the way I always hoped and imagined it to be.
