The highlight of our day was probably walking down the isle to my husband and finally having that moment of saying ‘wow, we finally made it’! We have been together for 10 years, and to finally have had that moment and day happen was unbelievable. Every moment was special.
We went to Paris and Amsterdam for 2 weeks!
This was our dream honeymoon destination and to actually have experienced this, made everything so much worth it.
The culture and everything else is so much different than South Africa but we enjoyed every moment! Our words cannot do any justice on how amazing it was! It was a dream come true.

I had two wedding dresses, one that was a enzoani designer dress hired in from Weddings by Design, Terry and Suzette are stunning ladies — and a dress made by a lady called Delia Perriera which is stunning and such a good dressmaker! We tied the knot at Weltevreden Estate in the beautiful Stellenbosch, from ceremony to the after party. It is child friendly, a lot of shade for those summer weddings and the staff are so friendly. We stayed over on the estate the entire weekend and had guests over on the Estate too. The venue was a fairytale, so many greenery and the best of all we had our reception party in the beautiful Maze!

I had a glow massage from Lanzerac Spa to get my skin glowing and to make my body feel more relaxed a day before the time. It was heaven.
I also got my eyebrows waxed and tinted by Nique on Fleek in Brackenfell.

We had many rose gold and black elements with white shades.The reason as to why we used so many flowers were mainly because the reception was in a maze with already so many greenery so in the end everything came out gorgeously! The theme was very modern, elegant and classy with a small touch of whimsicalness!

The Groom had his suit tailor made and imported his material from Italy, this was done by 'The Stitched and Co' in Somerset West Mall.
My four bridesmaids dresses was made in black satin material by Delia Perreira in Gordon’s Bay.
It was a ’flowy’ material with a sexy and modern look with a low back. The girls loved their dresses. The look was an inspiration I got on Pinterest.
Pastor Brian Williams. A pastor close to our heart that not only became a leader but also became family. His a inspiration for our marriage and individuals and he speaks volumes and volumes of love and truth.
Not only was he the marriage officer , we also had pre-marriage sessions with him. A man of gold.

Everything was on one estate, so we did not require any transportation.
Our stunning 7 tier wedding cake was done by ‘Agnaib’s Cakes’ in Somerset West.
The catering was linked to our package at the venue but our Chef was from Pikant Catering and we literally still get compliments for our food up to this day. Spot on foods!
Our stationary and designs were all done by Blooming Wonderful based in Somerset west! They did everything from save the dates to thank you cards. They were so good to work with and definitely captured our ideas the way we wanted.
