I am 55 so am a lot older than the normal bride. My moments was having all my children and new children and grandchildren at our wedding. We did things a lot different, My husband helped me choose my wedding dress and we took all our family photo's before the going to the chapel. Seeing all our close friends and family there to celebrate with us was lovely.
My eldest grandson of ten walked be down the isle this was such an experience for me to have him do this for me.
We we only going on honeymoon in May to Botswana on a 4x4 trip for a month, we have had to postpone this trip till next year.
I went for a peach color dress which I bought at Pebbles in Mossel Bay. My hair and make-up was done to suit an older bride and I was so happy with everything.
We got married in Buffeljagsrivier in Swellendam at Chris Elle Wedding Venue. We gave a few of our far guests accommodation at the venue and in the beautiful town of Swellendam
I was treated by my beautician Suzzanne Steyn from Swellendam for the past few months to all the necessary things to make me look radiant on the day
We used a wedding planner La Flor Events and Planning, I did not have to worry about anything. I walked into the hall and was stunned to see that everything was done excatly the way i wanted
All four of my daughters where my bridesmaids which made this very special. They got to choose there outfits themselves, which where all floral dresses. 3 of the 4 where bought at Truworths.

We where lucky enough to use Shante Hutton Photographer. She is my niece that made it extra speical.
Christiaan Conradie from La Flor in Swellendam, took all the stress from the day and made it perfect for us
