We got married on the beach in melkbos on wednesday the 23rd December just a week before the beaches got closed in Cape town (We got lucky). It was a small wedding with all our close family and friends but we made the best out of our day. The feeling of walking down to the beach and meeting my partner of 10 years was like the first day we met. The butterflies in my stomach where going crazy. I could not stop smiling the whole time we said our vows and we had a good laugh with our family on the small things that where said. We then went to the Blue Dolphin hotel and had a fab lunch, everything was so delicious and me and hubby took time to just sit back and take it all in. The day was so amazing and one i would never forget, i wish i could do it again!
We wrnt to beaverlac for 1 day before having to leave due to contracting covid19. Hoping for a redo soon!
I had a very casual look for my wedding day. It was at the beach so I had a flowing champagne weddding dress and was barefoot most of the time. My hair was in curls and my make up I did myself with just some foundation and lipstick.
We got married on the small beach called Kelpbaai between Blouberg and Melkbos.
I went on a very strict keo diet and I lost 8kgs before my wedding day. I had some dermapen done on my skin at Laserderm and I also did some microdermabrasion.
Flower bouquet was from fabulous flowers, pastel colours with loads of green.
My husband wore a navy blue slacks and a short sleeve white shirt all from Woolworths and he looked very handsome.
I kept it simple with no bridesmaids
My marriage officer was a gentlemen called Andred from I do weddings and he was amazing he kept it sweet and simple and was a very helpful and funny.
I had my friend stacy take my photos from stacy rae photography she is amazing!
ME! I planned everything and i enjoyed doing all of it!
We got family to drive us :)
We had the Blue dolphin hotel at the Blowfish restaurant make us a delicious 3 course meal and I had Iris Lilly bake me the most stunning chocolate cake with white icing and fresh white roses ontop.
We did not need anything like that we just had biodegradable confetti from takealot for the guests.
Was a daytime lunch so no dancing. We tried to keep with the covid19 rules as much as possible by having a outside wedding.
