The entire day was truly a fairytale, but if I had to choose a few highlights it would be walking down the aisle, saying our vows, worship, our photoshoot, and our first dance
We went to Durban for 5 days. Due to Covid-19 we didn't have many options.
My wedding look was regal, like a real Disney princess.
My dress was custom made by Ansie Bezuidenhout, my hair was extravagantly done by @hairlamour. My make up was absolutely stunning by @nooreza_s.
I wore diamond simulant earrings from Lovisa. I also wore a tennis bracelet from Swarovski.
I got married at Olympus Manor wedding Venue in Pretoria East. They also have guest houses that offer accommodation for guests.
Leading up to my wedding I had a dermapen and chemical peel treatment at Aesthetic Clinic by Marthinus Barnard. I had a Brazilian treatment done on my hair as well as a balayage colour by Rufus of Spectacular Hair. My mum and sisters treated me to a full body massage and a paraffin wax pedi at Camelot Spa The Blyde the day before my wedding. This Is Nails did my lovely nails.
Olympus Manor provided most of my decor. My floral arrangements were beautifully done by Boneve Florists. My floral backdrop was hired from "The Wedding Party" in Pretoria.
The groom had a custom suit made with material imported from Italy. The suit was made at the Oriental plaza in Johannesburg. The groomsmen bought their suits and shirts from Oriental plaza.
My bridesmaids wore a beautiful cold shoulder dress in coral. They were custom made by Ansie Bezuidenhout.
Our pastor was Riaan Weideman from Lighthouse Church in Secunda
Our photographer (Margaux Cronje) and videographer (Pieter Cronje) were an absolute delight to work with. They are exceptional at what they do. They capture every moment perfectly and they are so warm and friendly making you feel completely at ease. We had a photo booth run by 4 Seasons Mobile Disco.
My fiance and I did most of the planning with some help from family and friends.
Olympus Manor provided most of the food. My mother (Rekha Gurupersad) sourced post ceremony platters and a delicious lamb curry was prepared by my uncle who is a caterer (Pravesh Singh). My wedding cake was picture perfect made by Irene Thomas, it tasted amazing too.
We had dance lessons for our first dance by the best choreographer, Christiaan Els. He is brilliant at what he does and works with utmost respect and patience. Our DJ was Steven Aspeling from 4 Seasons Mobile Disco. He was so easy to work with and did an amazing job. We also had a fog machine that gave us the "dancing on the clouds" effect.
