The most memorable moments of my wedding day were when I walked halfway down the aisle and waited for my very soon to-be husband to come fetch me and also when our pastor lead us to say our vows. Those two moments sealed my new reality and were a testimony of God's promises.
We didn't go on honeymoon
My wedding day was a very simple and small yet very elegant event. I always want to look as natural as possible. My hair was just my dreadlocks, styled by a friend Yonela Boco, who also made my bouquet. My makeup was also done by a friend, Vuyokazi Dumalisile, who owns a makeup business, named Royal Diadem. My dress was created by an aunt of a friend. I got my earrings from LOCA BRIDAL and rhe shoes FROM YDE.
I got married at my church :
23 Lindsay Road, Korsten
Port Elizabeth, then went for a photoshoot on a different location.
My guests did not sleep over
I didn't really have a bridal beauty regime.
The deco at church was put together by ladies from my church.
I did not have bridesmaids, just a flower girl, my daughter. I got her dress shoes from Ackerman and the hair band from Clear Outs
