Having our first wedding cancelled due to a terrible accident at my bachelorette weekend which caused the passing of my sister, we decided a month later to proceed with the wedding as we thought that is what she would have wanted. Lockdown was then announced to start the evening of our wedding and as our wedding was scheduled to take place in the western cape and we life in pretoria we had to cancel once again. We then wanted to get married in our garden on my sister’s birthday but my mom was admitted to hospital and that idea was then off the table once again. After all the dates that was cancelled we eventually was fortunate enough to have our very special day at the beautiful Greenhouse cafe at Rosemary hill on the 3rd of December 2020. It was the most wonderful day even thought it was also a very sad day not having my maid of honor at my side. In a horrible year our wedding day was definitely the highlight.

My wedding dress was a typical traditional ball gown style by the very talented Salomie couture
My wedding shoes was imported from the UK, the butterly by Sophia Webster
Hair colour was done by Rachelle at Stijl and extensions by JES - jessy extensions & styling
Make up was done by Mooiste make up
The look was stylish and eligant
We got married at the beautiful Greenhouse cafe at Rosemary hill. Our guests could book accommodation at the venue as they have capacity for 98 people on the venue.

All treatments was done at Body Sculpting Medical spa. Products used was Nimue, Ph formula and dermapen treatments. Me and my husband also like working out at the gym but due to the restrictions we followed our own exercise program at hom and followed a healthy diet.
We bought a lot of the decor for the initial wedding date and made use of catering creations for the rest. We did not want a typical instagram photo wedding so the whole idea was to do something simplistic yet elegant and original.
The groom and groomsmen suits was bought at Tiger of sweden. And their boutonnières was ordered from the USA
The idea for the bridesmaids dresses was from a photo I saw. My sister made the first dress and was supposed to make the rest but after her passing a friend was so generous to complete the dresses for us
Our marriage officer was Ds. Jonette Botha fro Live life
Our most gorgeous photos was taken by the very talende Lika Horn from Lika girl photography and our videographer was the best upcoming Kyle Matt van Aswegen
I did not have a wedding planner as I like doing that kind of planning myself
We stayed at the venue and therefore did not require transport.
The food was prepared by the chef at Rosemary Hill. The food was so good that some of the guests asked for seconds even though it was more that enough.
The cake was made by Miss Cake and delicious

We were fortunate enough to make use of the inhouse designer that works at my husband’s company Luxurytime.
We took dance lessons at the ‘dance with the stars’ winner Ryan Hammond at Beverly hammond dance school
Our entertainment for the evening was Stiaan Reynierse and the venue provided the Dj which was a bonus
