The day was full of excitement from beginning to end. Getting ready with my mothers and bridesmaids was incredible. Before my husband and the groomsmen went to where they would get ready, I surprised him with a watch to match his suit. I so badly wanted to see his reaction when he opened it luckily we had an amazing photographer and videographer who captured every detail. The whole day I felt like a princess, and never knew the day I dreamed so many years about was finally here. I have to give God the honour for the incredible venue and the people who have made this day possible.
We went to Cape-Town for honeymoon and stayed at a luxurious hotel called 'The Onyx Apartment Hotel'. We had a lot of adventures planned and unplanned. We did a lot of new things which made the experience even better.
The hair was made simple with loose curls and a braided up pin with pearl clips. The makeup was natural using earthy tones to place more focus on my eyes. YAFAH did both the hairstyling and the makeup. The wedding dress is a ball gown style with a long train to add to the castle look and feel. The veil had lace details on the bottom that extended beyond the train of the dress. Calvers Bridal & Evening Wear provided both the wedding dress and the veil. The jewelry consists of a bracelet, pearl hanging earrings pared with a small diamond and emerald earrings.
The Venue's name is 'By Grace Alone'. It is located 8km west of George airport. It is a castle type structure with a medieval theme. Giving one a true feeling of being in a real castle with the small bridges and the water beside it and not to speak of the extraordinary view on the mountains in the background.
