The highlight of our special day was walking down the isle with my father and seeing my best friend who I am about to marry stand right in front of me. He looked absolutely breathtaking and I will marry him over and over again.
Seeing my father read the isle sign "Dad, of all the walks we have ever taken, this one I will remember forever" filled all our hearts with tears of joy and fulfillment.
Another memorable moment was our first dance, it was magical. Seeing all our loved ones share in the special moment with us was such an unforgettable memory that we will treasure forever.
Well, Thanks to Covid we have postponed not only our wedding date but our honeymoon too. We will enjoy the beautiful summer beaches and culture of Europe in the new year.
After our wedding we shared some much overdue time with our friends and family. We were extremely grateful to enjoy some extra time with them after the wedding rush.
My wedding dress was inspired by an image I saw which made me think of a fairytale cindarella moment with my prince charming. It was embedded with many swarovski crystals and beads. My ball gown could be removed which turned the cindarella dress into a very elegant evening dress. My wedding dress was made by Werner Dey.
My wedding hair and make up was done by Dyllan Morais who has been doing my hair and make up for the past 12 years while I was still doing pageants. He has shared in all my successes and victories.
My shoes were none other than beautiful rose gold glitter Jimmy Choo's which was a gift from my father with a blue shoe bag which was considered to be my 'something blue' at the wedding.

The inside of our reception was covered with flowers and a little greenery. With tall rose gold flower stands on each stable with 2 big bouquets of flowers and many candles to set the mood for the evening.

The groom and groomsmen got their suits from Eurosuits in Rivonia. They were extremely accomodating and all the suits were tailored perfectly. We got incredible service from them and great quality suits.
The grooms accesories were from Polo which complimented his beautiful suit perfectly.
My bridesmaids wore a long elegant rose gold and champagne dress. Each bridesmaid was able to design the top part of the dress according to their style and preference. It looked absolutely beautiful.

Our photographer was Gareth Barclay and Jacques from Barclay Studios. We are absolutely amazed by their work and would highly recommend them to everyone we speak to. Our videographer was Andra from Motion Craft films, his work is beautiful and very elegant. Our photographers and videographers went beyond our expectations and we can't wait to see even more.

Our wedding transport was a Range Rover Velar. Nico Fourie the DP from Land Rover West Rand arranged this vehicle for us. It was beautiful and fit in perfectly with our elegant and classy styled wedding.

This was all done by myself. I enjoy artwork and design. Making my own wedding stationary enabled me to relax and swtich off from our busy daily lives. I am also a perfectionist so I wanted to do it all by myself to ensure that I know my wedding stationary meets my perfectionism standards, LOL.
Our reception was beautiful. Our venue opened up to a beautiful sea view.
Our first dance was perfect. We went for dance lessons at Quintus (A former 'So you think you can dance' winner). He was spectacular. It was our very first time dancing together so it was quite a stressful journey but we enjoyed every moment. My husband even wants to continue dance lessons next year.
Our DJ was thoroughly enjoyed as well, Mark from Cape Town JAM is also highly recommended.
We had Byron who is an employee at the 12 Apostles hotel shared his beautiful voice with us throughout the ceremony and reception. During our ceremony we also had Titia and her team play the violin and guitar for our guests and when I made my grand entrance with my father the played "you are the reason" and Byron sang. It was beautiful
My old school friend, and also a Top 16 Idols SA 2020 finalist Ethan Norris also performed a few very special songs for us which was extremely special.
