My husband and I are extremely family-oriented individuals and the most memorable moment of our wedding is most definitely when my dad walked me down the aisle. Walking amongst family and friends and then locking eyes with my partner is a memory that will be cherished for years to come.

A modern bride - that was my desire however as the planning process unfolded I definitely maintained many traditional aspects. The dress that received my "yes" was a form-fitting number with intricate feather-like embellishments. I decided to hire a flared skirt for the ceremony to create two looks for the event. My hair was loose and my make up was subtle. My mom surprised me with a pair of pearl earrings, the pearl representing my birthstone, and I wore her blue lacey garter from her wedding day. My white satin Ted Baker wedding shoes and Peony and Blush Suede Jo Malone fragrance added to the luxurious feeling that filled my bridal suite the day of our wedding.

We decided on a white and cream colour palette with hints of gold. Individual flowers were suspended from the ceiling, integrated beautifully among white drapery and oversized chandeliers.
The groomsmen wore three-piece black suits and the groom was distinguished with a patterned waistcoat.
