Walking down the aisle and seeing my at that time fiancé with tears rolling down his cheeks was probably the highlight of my day, and being able to share my fairytale wedding with family and friends during lockdown.

We went to The Protea Marriot Hotel Knysna for 2 days and thereafter to the Marriot Hotel in Mosselbay for 3 days.
I went for a simple but elegant look. Blush hair and make up did my hair and my make up. My dress I hired at Whimsical Bridal Somerset West- I tried on 8 different dresses and each one was gorgeous but I knew when I tried on the Enzoani BT20.02 that I've found my dress because I could not stop my tears flowing. My dress had a lot of glitter and beads so I just went with silver block heels and long diamond earrings. For my lingerie I wore something blue to complete the saying: "something Old, something new, something borrowed, something blue."
We got married at Hoogeind Manor Somerset West, there is accommodation for wedding guest, but only a few people stayed over including me and my husband.
I really didn't have any- I just went with my regular routines. normal face wash and cleanser- I've got a very sensitive skin and was too scared that I might damage my skin while trying something new before the wedding.
I originally wanted a night wedding with fairy lights and flowers but with lockdown we had to change our wedding time to an afternoon wedding. We went with white emerald green and gold. I rented my wedding décor from Functions and Events- Mariette from Knot to much did my flowers and décor which was done perfectly- She really went out of her way to make this day the most beautiful, more then I can even imagine. I had only white flowers in my reception area with a lot of greenery. The ceremony's flower was done a bit different to fit in with the chapel. Mzansi Soundworx was our DJ and he brought his own lights and smoke machine with.
The groomsmen wore white shirts, emerald green ties, suspenders and a cream suit trouser from Eurosuit and shoes from Shoecity. Groom wore the same but with undercoat and a full suit.
My bridesmaid wore emerald green infinity dresses made a lady in Worcester.
Revered Brink was our marriage officer
Fabio Photography took our photos, we had a wooden backdrop and selfie frame for photos. our DJ also took some videos and photos.
No I did not have a wedding planner. I planned out everything and just asked the bestman to sort out small stuff on the day that might surface.
No we did not have a planner.
We had an old Rolls Royce that we hired for the photos. The owner Danie van Rooyen who's from Malmesbury was really friendly.

Chantelle's cake creations from Somerset West made the most beautiful wedding cake, I still can't get over the cake. the food was prepared by the Hoogeind staff.
Toast and Tassels really did a great job. Everything was just like we wanted it to be.
Dj Naz from Mzansi Soundworx was or DJ- he had his own lightning, smoke machine and he had our guest and even myself dancing until we ad to pack up. We did not take dance lessons but we did practice a few times at home. which I think was a lot of fun seeing that my husband is not really someone who's interested in dancing.
