When we read our vows to each other my heart melted and Ive never been more excited about my future. (Cliche but honest). Our first dance to Aretha Franklin's "Atlast" was an absolute highlight( because Im a dancer by profession we did a bit more than was expected:). My dad also sang to my fiance and I. He'd made the song for my 5th Birthday and to have him sing to us on the night was the most special moment.
We went to "The Gorge". It was totally gorgeous to say the least. Romantic, in nature, we went extreme zipling, drank plenty wine and made the most of every moment as newlyweds.
The most important accessory was my Tiara. That was essential as I am a ballet dancer. I couldnt imagine having walked down the aisle without it. My dress... it was meant to be. My mom found it which meant so much to me. It was the first and only dress I tried on. Lace, simple and elegant was always my dream. I knew it would be timeless. I went for chandelier earrings, nude strappy heels, white lace underwear to match my dress and lastly my cape/veil. A piece I made for myself specifically for the photos. I didnt wear it for any other part of my wedding. And when you see it flying over the pool whilst I kiss my husband in my favourite photo.... you'll see it was worth it.
