My highlights has to be the moment I stepped down the aisle, with my eyes fixed to my hubby and when I saw he's big smile, my heart skipped a beat. That time my song was playing in the background - I do, ngyavuma, I do... and yesssss oh! boy, was I ready to say I do or was ready to say I DO.... I also remember the joyful noise everybody made as soon as they saw me. My goodness I was so happy to see everybody and then they started ukulilizela and only then I knew that I wasn't dreaming, it was actually real. At first I was a bit nervous but when I saw everybody's face and how happy and excited they were, I relaxed and enjoyed every moment.
Another moment that I will forever cherish is when my grandpa handed me over to the groom. I saw a tear in his eye though he was trying to hide it but that was emotional for me and I was very happy. That moment I was saying to myself yessssss I made him cry lol, crying tears of joy and off course who wouldn't be happy to be handed over such a beautiful bride like me... a rare breed.
When we exchanged our vowels- wow! how can I ever forget that moment. I was about to bust into tears but then I prayed silently, pleading to God to give me strength because wow! the part were it says till death do us apart...was really emotional for me.
……. and of course the magical moment - Our dance when we entered at the reception, oh boy! oh boy! it was a show stopper lol we made such a grand entrance, it was fun and everyone was on their feet cheering for us. Also our first dance was so romantic, the song was chosen by my hubby and it spoke to us and where we come from, relationship wise.. the challenges we've overcome and basically how much we've grown together.
