Highlights of our amazing day was seeing our family and friends become one, and everyone celebrated our special day with us. Memorable moments was seeing each other for the first time that day, walking down the isle with my dad and my dad being the one who married us, such a special moment to treasure forever.
We booked our honeymoon to go to tailand but everything went down in flames when Sta travel closed their doors. We were heartbroken not to be able to go on our dream honeymoon and lost all our hard worked for money.BUT, we still had a great honeymoon by keeping it local, we went to a place just outside swellendam and had a fantastic time with each other and we had our own hottub.we were there for a few days and then we went to Hermanus also for a few days. We made the best of our week away and enjoyed every moment and even tough we never went to Tailand we had each other and that was more then enough for us.
My wedding look was very elegant and natrual at the same time, my hair and make up was done by Marlene Nel from Elegance hair and make up studio also a very good friend of mine. I remember when she asked me what i have in mind for my wedding look,i just said i trust you and you know best. She made me feel like a billion dollars. Love her to bits and she was just amazing. My wedding dress was made by Alec Roux and my word, he did a fantastic job.all the love and attention to detail he had put in my dress, he also made me feel like a Queen. He is simply amazing in what he does.my shoes i bought from Anelle wedding shoes, perfect match to my dress. All of my service providers are close to my heart as they shared our special day with me every step of the way.
Our wedding was at Cherry Glamping in Elgin and my gosh this was the perfect venue for us.the venue represented both of who we are and what we wanted. Elegant,relaxed,nature,open air and that forest feel.most of our guests stayd the night as the venue offers luxury tents with everything you need inside. Also our guests received a breakfast the following morning. It was amazing!!
Our decor was done by my mother and she absolutly has out done her self!! What an amazing job she did, she made sure everything was perfect. From small to big, nothing was ever to big or small for her.Everything was done with so much love, you could see and feel it when you walked into the venue. Amazing amazing amazing!!! She made our day amazing!!! Flowers was done by my mon and a very dear friend of the family!!
The groom and groomsmen suites was navy blue with mint green and they looked amazing!! Suites was bought at mr suite hire
The bridesmaids dresses was made by bespoke by belinda, and also an amazing lady with an amazing talent!!

My mother was our wedding planner. Best coordinator ever!!!
Wedding cake was done my a very close family friend of us, she did an amazing job. Catering was done by spitbraai and functions. The food was amazing!!
