After 3 attempted weddings we finally were blessed with a Bush wedding. We were so lucky to have our immediate family join us at the beautiful Impodimo lodge in madikwe.
I loved every minute of the whole day! We woke up to go over the logistics of the day and got to see elephants come drink from the waterhole while we had our morning coffee .. the Elephants tried to make another appearance down our aisle while we were saying our "I do's", but the game rangers made sure that they stayed distant spectators:) The absolute best moment for both of us was the ceremony! In the bush , with our family , and taking on the next step in our adventure with God.
The wedding took place at the gorgeous Impodimo game lodge in madikwe.
The family stayed for the weekend in the lodge.
We wanted a simple rustic/outdoors feel.
So we went with a minimal approach as the surroundings didn't need much decorating.
We bought a few bunches of chrysanthemums, babysbreath, and eucalyptus. We used some of it on the tables and the rest in buckets down the aisle. We also bought these white woven hearts which added a romantic feel. All of the decor was sourced from multiflora or the craft market across the road.
On the day my amazing mother-in law and mum created my beautiful bouquet.
My uncle performed the ceremony.
