We were in high school, Grade 10 when we started dating. In my matric year 2014 my fiancé and his family immagrated to Australia. We got engaged on the 25th of November 2018 and getting married on the 25th of January 2020. We have been in a long distance relationship for 5 years only seeing each other once a year for a month.
We went to The Big Hole in Kimberley on a tour. My fiancé asked if we could go ahead on the bridge that looks over The Big Hole of Kimberley. He was really nervous and stumbled over his words. He forgot to get on his knee and as he remembered he had to go on his knee he forgot what he was busy saying. I was so in shock I forgot to say yes and only giggled. We are such goofes. It was such an imperfect proposal that it was actually perfect. I would not change a thing about that day.
