It's so clueshay to say this was the best day of my life. But there is definitely no better way in explaining. Every one laughed when we said we are going to get married in January in the Karoo. This is usually the warmest time of the year and there was a big drought during that time. But this turned out to be the most perfect day with perfect weather.
This plays is very special and dear to my husband and I. This is where we fell in love and where we cherish our most memorable memories. My husband grow up in this area, as their family farm is just next to the venue. We decided on this venue as it shows the Great Karoo in its best. So we made it a weekend wedding where every one came from across South Africa. This is what made the wedding so special, is that is was not just one day, but al through the weekend. We started the celebration on the Friday night where we held a braai on his family farm. And ended the wedding on the Sunday with a breakfast before we went of to the honeymoon.
