We met 12 years ago at a mutual friends birthday party. We were both still in school and thought that it was just a holiday fling.
Well, we began dating shortly after.. And yes schoolLovers can actually make it happen.
It was Mothersday 2018. We have an adorable (almost) 3 year old son. I already made my choice in what gift I wanted for mothersday, a beautiful necklace. On our way to my mother (to celebrate mothersday) he pulled over at a Bistro where we like to stop when we go to my Mothers house. As I was walking my baby boy came to me with my present (the neclace I thought) and I was like No just leave it in the car Ill get it when we come back. (Thinking I know what it is already so no ecxitement there.) My boyfriend kept on saying open it.. I eventually took the gift from my baby. When i open it I saw the ring ( Im like oh okay he changed his mind) When you are together for so long you start to think they forget to ask the big Question. And as I turned around( wanting to say oh its a ring but where is my necklace) He was down on one knee with our son in his arms. I was so surprised, happy and everything in between. It was not the most romantic but it was perfect for us as a family together.
