The highlight of my day was seeing my husband at the alter. He looked so handsome, and as I walked toward him my eyes locked with his and I could just not look anywhere else but at him. My eyes filled with tears and so did his. We waited for that moment for 9 years and finally the day had come. I wouldn’t pick a specific moment of our day as memorable as each and every moment of our day was memorable. I will cherish our day for the rest of our lives. If we could go back to that day and do it over again, I wouldn’t change a thing.
Yes we did. We went to Bali. It was so romantic and relaxing! We went to two magical places in Bali. The first is called Ubud. It’s situated in the farming parts of Bali where all the rice fields and forests are situated. The second is Benoa. This consisted of all the beaches. We enjoyed every moment of our honeymoon and it was definitely needed after all the wedding planning!
When I thought about how I wanted to look for our big day, unique was what came to mind. I didn’t want to look like an every day bride. I wanted to portray me. I love fairytales and mystical things such as fairies and forests and everything kind of fell right into place when it came to what we chose.
My hair and makeup was done by the beautiful Mikhara Ford. She did an amazing job on me, my bridesmaids, moms and flower girls with the help of her fellow hairstylist and makeup artist Melissa.
My wedding dress and Veil was bought from Bridal Manor and the designer of my dress is Justin Alexander and my veil is Pronovias.
My shoes are Steve Madden.
My Lingerie such as my garter is from Bridal manor.
My Jewelry is Swarovski and my wedding ring and bands is from Browns.
My hair piece is from Lovisa.

We got married at Oakfield Farm in Muldersdrift. Our guests did not stay over at our venue but surrounding venues such as Monchique.

I did general daily home workouts leading up to our special day and tried to eat as healthy as I could but I didn’t have a strict diet. I had a facial, got my nails done and had a hair treatment in the week of the wedding.

We wanted simple yet elegant decor at our wedding. Everything from the decor to the flowers and all other rented items were done by Erna from Magnifique floral art.
The groom wore a black suit from Woolworths. His shoes were black leather formal shoes from Steve Madden. His watch is Fossil and his wedding band is from Jéan André Jewellers. His tie is from Dufy and tie clip from C Squared and his belt is from Polo.
The Groomsmen suits were from Black Tie. Their ties are from Edgars. Their socks are from Fabiani. Their tie clips are from C squared and their belts are from H&M.
My bridesmaids wore deep wine red mermaid fitted dresses from Bride & Co. Their earrings are from Lovisa. I wanted a very simple yet elegant look for all the girls and I wanted them to be able to rewear the dresses they wore on the wedding day.
My flower girls had beautiful fairy like dresses made by Angels and Fairies and they felt like little princesses on the day. Their shoes are from Jet and their hair accessories from Lovisa.
Our Marriage officer was Karel Kriege. On the day of the wedding the lady who did the wedding service was Retah McPherson.
Jessica Notelo was our photographer for our special day. We always knew she would be our photographer from the day that we started planning our wedding. She exceeded our expectations with all the photos! She’s so fun to work with and makes you feel so comfortable! Her work is amazing and she captures everything in such a natural and beautiful way!
Richan Fourie was our videographer. He did an amazing job on the day and really worked well with everyone during the course of the day! We found him on Facebook and absolutely loved the way he captured weddings and he definitely did not disappoint!

We got ourselves to our wedding day and no transport was used to get us to the chapel.
The food was prepared by the Oakfield farm chefs. The food was absolutely delicious and the guests could not get enough! We loved and enjoyed every bite!
Our cake was made by Kelly Jayne cakes and she exceeded our expectations! The cake was Devine and our guests loved it!

We made use of Fralenco for all our stationary such as our invites, menus and table seating. They did an amazing job with everything!
We did not take dance lessons. We made us of Tony from Perfect tone music who did all the music in the chapel and reception and the lighting as well for the dance floor. Tony is the absolute best and kept everyone going the whole evening! We loved every bit of the music he played. He did a fantastic job!
For the Canapés a string of Pearls played the violin and Cello to entertain the guests before going into the reception. They did a phenomenal job!
