Our love story began when our mothers met at a get to together. It was the end of the night and I went to fetch my mother. The ladies were still having fun and didn't want to leave which was fine with me because I found a puppy. While I played with the pup my fiance's mum was watching me and apparently told my mother that I would be perfect for her son who is crazy about dogs. Long story short, they exchanged our numbers and we started talking. 8 years later and we still going strong.
It was my birthday, 26 May 2017. He booked out a restaurant overlooking the beach at night with our parents and some family. He was acting weird, a bit distant which was weird for me. After dinner he suddenly stood up and said present time! So he called me up to the front. There was a live band playing music the whole night but as I got to the front the mood of the music changed. Gervaise my fiance then dropped to his knee.
