Magical Moments

The most memorable part of my day was walking down the aisle and seeing my husband. We hadn't seen one another for 2 days before and the tears were streaming down his face. I will never forget it!

The Honeymoon

We are homebods and we are always very busy in our careers. We went to Cape Town for a week staying in Camps Bay and exploring our beautiful country! We had the best time and the best weather too! Our hotel even bumped us up to the honeymoon suite.

My Special Day

I'm a classical ballerina and a championship Latin American dancer. I went for the classical vintage look with a hint of sexy. My dress was a Rosa Clara gown from DelaVida Bridal Couture. I had classical and romantic curls by Robyn at Blush Boutique. My make up was exquisite and alluring by Makeup by Ryno. I had vintage teardrop earrings from Lovisa and the most elegant bridal bouquet from The Bloom Room. My shoes were designed by me and were dance shoes!

The Venue

We got married at a country like venue called Everwood Country Estate in Muldersdrift. Our guests stayed at nearby bnbs but as newly weds we stayed in the bridal suite.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

Being a dancer I already was quite fit and healthy. I did eat much healthier and made sure to keep a very simple beauty routine to keep my skin supple and glowing. I went for some microneedling sessions with Stacey Gent months before to get some plumpness and also went to the sunbed at Face Facts in Randburg for a tanned glow.

Wedding Elements

Each part of our wedding was apart of a story in our relationship. Our chapel was simple and white. We had lanterns and "babies breath" down the aisle. Each seat had a miniature tissue box for happy tears. A cute touch! Our cocktail hour was very relaxed with lawn games, a gin and craft beer bar paired with light country music in the background. Guests could eat yummy snacks and sit on picnic blankets. It was tough to get them away!! Our reception was extremely beautiful. We went for the white, beige and dusty pink look. We had toparies of roses on each table with dinner candles and fairy lights. It was a dream! Flowers and all decor was by Trendy Settings.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

My handsome hubby wore a beige 3 piece suit made especially for him at Cavaliers in Melrose Arch. The groomsmen wore beige pants and white shirts with a snazzy beige bow tie!

Beautiful Bridesmaids

My bridesmaids all have different body shapes and heights and looks. I had infinity dresses made for them by Bridal Alchemy. I had 2 girls in beige and my maid of honour in dusty pink. The designs they chose were gorgeous!!

Marriage Officer

Mr Graeme Reid - he was spectacular!

My Captured Moments

Our photographer is very special. She was the photographer at my brother's wedding. Megan Ann Photography captures emotion like no other. I didn't even know she was there most of the time!

The Wedding Planner

Trendy Settings together with Everwood Estate and my mom and I did the planning :)

Wedding Transport

We didn't need any transport.

Food & Cake

Everwood did the food. The chef is amazing and has win many awards at Bridal Expos. She also did our cake and cupcakes.

Wedding Stationery

Our stationary was designed by Debbie at Labelise and printed by Jamie at Lily and Moons.

The Reception and Entertainment

Together we are championship dancers ranked 3rd in SA for 2018. We didn't take dance lessons. We did a beautiful Viennese Waltz! It was stunning. We had a live band called Simply For. They did all our sound and lighting for the day.
