On September 20, 2019, we got married in a open-air chapel surrounding by trees.
"Die Woud" just outside Caledon was our choice of venue. We both love earthly simplicity and nature, so the venue fit perfectly with who we are.
The day itself flew by. The love we experienced on our wedding day was indescribable. So many precious moments we could share.
Yes, we spend 12 days in Bali, Indonesia at Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The color scheme's inspiration came from my favorite flower, a protea. The colors were a mix of pink shades, rose gold and navy. I didn't really have a specific idea for my wedding dress and started searching for the perfect dress a month before our big day. I decided on a romantic dress from Oliveli with lots of lace to further emphasize the beauty of the forest. The end result was beyond my wildest dreams. Hair and make up was done by the very talented Leoume Vos.
Our service providers were top notch - we couldn't have asked for better service and the relationships we have created through it are very special to us. .

Francois had only one groomsmen, his brother. Both suits where hire from Keith suit hire in Somerset West. The leather accessories was from "Love David".
I also only have one bridemaid, my best friend. Her dress was from Geligue Couture in Pretoria.
OUr marriage officer was Ds. Albertus van Zyl. He is also a family member of Francois.
The weather was perfect to capture beautiful photo's by Thunder & Love Photography and SALT productions video recording was excellent and brings back many memories of our wonderful day.

Our wedding cake from Inke cake design was to die for, each layer with a unique type of cake - Lemon - Carrot and Chocolate.
I did design my own wedding stationery like the wedding program, signs etc. I use "Kreatief Helderberg" to do all my laser cutting like the table names etc.
We have a live band during the canape - The Otther band
DJ Pepe was responsible for all music during the seremony and reception. He did a brilliant job!
