The whole day was so spectacular and unforgettable. But the moment that stands out the most for me was when I was in front of the door about to enter the chapel. Our wedding song playing softly. I could see Dwight at the end of the isle. When I saw his face everything just stopped for a minute and it was only me and him.
I will never forget that moment. Definitely the most special memory I have off the day.
Dwight arranged the honeymoon in Greece. After our first day in Athens he surprised me and said we will be going to Santorini. We stayed in a hotel on the cliff edge in Santorini overlooking the Nea Kameni, an uninhabited volcanic origin located within the flooded Santorini caldera, we explored the island and beaches in the area. Santorini offers so much. From the white little cave houses, lighthouse sunsets, delicious Greek cuisines, nightlife and black beaches. This was a versatile little island. On the 3rd day in Santorini he said that we will be going to Mykonos for another 3 nights. We travelled to the island with a speed ferry. We again explored the island and beach hopping on all the beaches and ate dinners at little Venice while gazing at the romantic sunsets. What an intimate and passion full little town filled with character. On our return to Athens we explored the breath-taking architecture and museums in the area. There is so much to see and so much history in Athens.
I chose a romantic yet classic look. To complete my look I chose a heart shape champagne dress with lace detail and a lace up back.

We chose Whispering Thorns because we got engaged in the low-veld and I could not think of any better area to get married. The venue offers a glass chapel while overlooking the low-veld valley, the reception also has a triple story glass wall to add to the romantic feel and to allow for a lot of natural light to enter. Most of our guests stayed over in guest lodges in the area and all our close family stayed over with us in the guest house on the venue

The theme for my wedding was a soft romantic look. I incorporated blush, white, navy blue, gold and greenery to complement the soft romantic ambiance. Vanilla scented candles and fairy lights finished off the romantic feeling.
The groom decided on a classic slim fit navy blue suite with a white shirt and navy waistcoat . He finished the look with a polka dot tie and pocket square from My Bro Tie. He matched his suite with tan shoes and a belt.
The groomsmen also had navy blue suites with white shirts and tan shoes to match the grooms look. They had navy brace suspenders and polka dot bow ties and pocket squares.
My bridesmaid could choose their own style dress to complement their own personality and style.
The dresses were blush pink with a soft tulle skirt. Gelique made the dresses for them.
