He was blindfolded, and we met just before the ceremony started... he told me how much he loved me and gave me the courage to walk down the aisle knowing he will be there waiting and everything will be ok.

We got married in the lovely Dullstroom at The Silver Sixpence Wedding Venue.
We had a weekend wedding, family and close friends stayed over at the venue from Friday night through to Saturday.
I signed up for an 11 week program with Bodytec, 1 session per week of 20 mins. The sessions helped amazingly as I wasn't able to go the the gym quite often because of my work.
Facials and chemical peels were done a few months before the wedding to ensure no pimple will appear on our big day (it was a success) , all done at Mellow Clinic in Pretoria.
For health and weight loss I literally ate tuna and rice cakes 24/7. It works!
I love the blue hydrangeas and wanted to do something a little different than what is trendy right now.
We had stunning dark rectangular wooden tables, with greenery garlands that included beautiful soft pink & vintage roses, the stunning blue hydrangeas and mixed with a few other small flowers in between.
Blue serviettes were placed on glass under plates paired with white Tiffany chairs.
The reception hall was lit with lots and lots of candles and fairy lights on the roof.

The ceremony took place in the most beautiful forest, with tall trees moving in the wind.
White Chinese lanterns hung from above with flowers on the side of the aisle in small glass vases.
My handsome groom wore a blue suit from Your Pal, with a crisp white shirt and a navy tie.
The groomsmen wore light grey suits with the same tie as the groom, paired with white shirts from Eurosuit.
My 4 bridesmaids wore dresses in Periwinkle blue from The Maiden. Each girl had the chance to choose her own dress.
Some had a one shoulder, the other a halter neck and so forth.
Our ceremony was done by Etienne Trollope from Doxa Deo. He was truly amazing, all the guests loved his message.

The video was taken by Lion & Lamb media house, they all were an amazing team and made us feel so comfortable.
I did all the wedding planning myself, with some assistance from my mom, mother -in-law and my bridesmaids.
Our food was amazing and done by Thistles Catering. The wedding cake was exquisite and done by La Moraine cakes.
The welcome board, table numbers and ring box was done by the amazing Oelala. All other stationary was designed and done myself.
The reception was amazing, our DJ was a family member, which made song requests great!
We did dance lessons at Beverly Hammond dance school, they are amazing and very creative.
