It truly was the BEST day of my life! The love we received from family and friends was phenomenal. Wish we could do it all over again
Yes, in Mauritius! It is a beautiful island and the perfect honeymoon destination
The look and feel of the wedding was classic yet modern. The flowers were greenery and white with touches of gold on the glass rims and knives and forks etc. My make up and hair was done by Maryna Kirsten, she is absolutely phenomenal! I felt like a model haha:)
We got married at Vrede en Lust in the Cape Winelands region
I started with my fitness journey early 2019 with the help of my brother in law who is a professional rugby player and lost 5kgs. I started using skin car products called Optiphi, a proudly South African range, which completely changed my skin, I was glowing on my wedding day.
We had raw wooden tables, with glass under plates with gold rims, gold rim champagne and wine glasses and gold cutterly. All the flowers were greenery and white and the tables had long glass vases with floating candles. We designed our own monogram which was carried throughout the wedding, there was a monogram on the cake, a massive floor sticker and on each menu. Each menu was personalized for each guest. We had chandeliers in the ceremony hall as well as in the reception venue which really made a difference
The groom and groomsmen wore Navy Suits with white shirts and grey bow ties. They wore brown shoes and brown belts. They all looked very dapper. The groom wore a skinny navy tie with a gold tie clip and personalized gold cuff lings that were gold passed down from his great grandfather with the same initials. The suits were made at Tailor Me in Parkhurst
The bridesmaids wore a very light pink/nude dress from Forever new and matching heels from cotton on. Their hair was in a loose side bun with curly pieces coming out in the front. They looked phenomenal and the dress was very slimming

Our photographer was Edo Mostert, Videographer Dylan Mitchley Media and we did not make use of a photo booth. Instead we had a Polaroid camera where each guest took a photo of themselves and stuck it in our guest book and wrote a message. It’s a really great way to keep the memories from the day

No, I planned the wedding all myself with the help of my amazing mother and bridesmaids ofcourse.
I had a golf cart take me from the Manor house to ceremony. That wasn’t planned though but it was raining so we had to:)
The food was prepared by the Chef at the venue JP. He is a Michelin star chef, needless to say, the food was spectacular. The cake was made by Robyn at Chocswirl. Bottom layer vanilla with lemon curd, second layer chocolate cake with a dark chocolate ganache and the top layer carrot cake with cream cheese icing. It had our monogram on it with gold leaf and fresh flowers.
Our stationery was designed and printed by Rebelle Design in Cention Gauteng and my aunty flew it up for us. They did an absolutely amazing job
We had a violin and chello, Simply Strings, play while I walked down the aisle and they moved over to the pre drinks area while we took photos. Our DJ was Silk music who kept the crowd going until 3am. We took basic dance lessons but forgot all the moves when we started so we just enjoyed ourselves:)
