Waking up and realizing that the day has finally arrived was the first highlight of the day. Not a single thing was out of place and my prayers were answered in every aspect of the wedding. Seeing my dad at the entrance of my dressing room and his loud out-roar of amazement at how beautiful I looked made me quite emotional. My most memorable moment was when the doors to the chapel opened, seeing my Malcolm at the end of the aisle, and my dad handing me over to my new life.
We honeymooned at a beautiful, private resort in Mauritius called Veranda Paul et Virginie. Absolutely stunning!
I was so blessed to have met Shana Parker who did my hair and make up for my wedding.
We did a trial for my make up at my home a few weeks before the big day. I think we laughed and spoke nonsense more than anything.

Our decor and theme was Rustic/Country chic. It was defined by wooden pallets, brown paper sweet bags, bamboo confetti cones, a naked cake and naked bulbs for that romantic setting in the reception. The flowers were white and green with a touch of rose gold elements.

Our groomsmen were dressed were Designer Warehouse and Woolworths and they looked absolutely amazing.
Our bridesmaids were dressed by Des Creations and they look ravishing. My bridesmaid and sidekick Chale and I picked out the material and colour for the dresses and everything just came together so beautifully. Their look was created off a picture we had found off Pinterest.

What we loved about our photographer is that he was probably the first supplier that we had booked once we decided on a date. We actually grew a relationship with him and so it was easy to do work with him. He did our engagement shoot and he made it super fun and exciting to work with him. He was on time on our special day and did all the crazy things we asked of him.
Noble Media Solutions/ Tyrone Noble did a fantastic job at capturing our special moments. He also did our engagement shoot. Tyrone was one of the first suppliers that we booked when we decided on a date and we got to know him on a more friendly level which made taking the pictures a fun and comfortable environment.
Truly great service, unlimited hours, he was on time, two assistant photographers and great fun and energetic attitude and personality.

A close friend and spiritual sister to the both of us. Malcolm and I were very involved in the planning of our wedding and we also wanted Fiona to be a guest at our wedding.
We did a lot of the ground work and ensured that she could still enjoy the wedding. She did an amazing job of overseeing and co-ordinating the finer details. A blessing to us for sure.
I can say that the food was amazing but the guests were the ones that really went back for second and thirds.
The food was outstanding and fantastic comments from our guests all round.
The cake! My goodness, the cake tasting never prepared us for the final product of what was delivered on the day. A standing ovation to Joy and Karin for a job well done. I don't know if many brides can say this but, WE HAD NO CAKE LEFT TO TAKE HOME!
