I wasn't too strict on myself during the weeks leading up to the wedding. I carried on with my gym regime (strength and conditioning 3 days a week) and tried my best to eat healthy.
I did get my hair cut a week before and obviously got my nails, waxing and eyelashes the week of the wedding.
I did all my decor myself.
I was going for a whimsical, relaxed rustic theme. 15 months before my wedding date I began planning, gathering and making my decor pieces.
I incorporated greens, plum, lace, hessian, wood and a touch of rose gold.
My flowers and the bouquets were done by a very talented family friend Mrs Lynne Roe
Cranford supplied the tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and the catering.

They looked absolutely amazing in the plum colour! I let them choose their own hairstyles and we went light on the make up but darker on the lip.
They wore flat sandles I bought from pnp clothes and their hair clips I ordered from etsy.

Centaine,the owner and talent of photocentz photography was incredible! She and second shooter, Sally Mackay photography, shot our wedding for 15 hours! Both ladies were professional and easy to talk to and there was so much fun and laughter during the shoots.
We even did a sneaky night shoot while everyone else was partying away.

Lauren lee cake couture, the wedding cake tasted delicious. The flavors I chose were lemon poppyseed, caramel and chocolate at the top. It was just as I pictured it in my mind, gorgeous!

The reception was magical! I had set it up the day before and with all the candles lit it looked gorgeous like a fairy tale.
We did have 2 dance lessons but only to learn some moves...on the day we did our own dance incorporating the moves we learnt at floor craft studio.
The midlands DJ was our pick and morne and his wife were amazing! They were professional and played the best music, they really got the party going! They were in charge of music and lighting and provided all the mics and audio equipment.
