Our wedding day was by far the most special day we both have ever experienced. It was a day that will always stand out. A day we couldn’t wait for. We were showered with tons of love and we were super overwhelmed with all the blessings and joy from this beautiful day.
We went to Rome & Paris.
We both wanted to be traditional at the same time modern and true to ourselves. We both both wore traditional wear for all our events and stuck to our own style. Our traditional Indian outfits were both purchased from India from a boutique store called Paaneri, My Jewelry was also purchased from there. Shoes were jimmy choo’s, hair was done by Hairsensations at the Hilton hotel in Durban, my hairdresser just did what was me, kept it simple yet traditional & my makeup was done by Nadia Motala.
We had our wedding at Zimbali Lodge. We fell in love with the Bali like background and loved that we could still be true to our roots by having a wedding in our home town but still have the beauty of a destination wedding.

We went for the less is more vibe purely because our venue was stunning on its own. We stuck to warm natural colors, kept the staging traditional and beautiful with a simple gazebo so that our guests could admire the ocean behind us. Our reception we embraced the colonial style venue and lifted the venue with large bouquets of flowers and lighting that dropped from the ceiling.
My husband wore a traditional outfit also bought from india, custom made with his preferred design. This was from Paaneri. For the reception he bought a suit from Zara and accompanied his suit with formal shoes from Gucci.
For our wedding we used Bridal Tech as our photographer. Adhir was super amazing and creative and made us feel so comfortable working with him,I believe every couple should consider hiring and working with him. From the few photos we saw we simply love his work. For videography we used Elephants Belly, Paul & Wayne also super professional and easy to work with and definitely made us more than comfortable and happy on our wedding day. Photo Booth we used The Selfie Mirror, Ask for Ryan he’s super helpful.
Zimbali prepared our food. It was super amazing, we heard amazing feedback from our family. Our wedding cake was done by a family member, she really surprised us.
Our Reception was definitely one of our highlights. We had so much fun. We used a gentleman named Dj Marlin he was phenomenal. Really knew the crowd. For our dance we had a 48 hour crash course and totally winger our dance, we had so much fun. We used Manna Music as entertainment, we had a cellist and a saxophonist.
