It was always my dream as a little girl to have a fairytale wedding and to feel like a princess and I was fortunate to have exactly that. It was a perfect sunny winters day in Stellenbosch. Everything was perfect, it was a small intimate wedding which made it even more special for both of us. We wrote our own vows and that was a very special moment between us.
We went to Paternoster for a few days, but we are hoping to go on an overseas trip in 2020.
My wedding dress (Tracey's Bridal gowns) was an A-line dress with a lace corset and Italian tulle skirt, it was simple but elegant and I loved it. My hair was swept to one side with a few curls and my makeup was also very natural (Mathilde Pieterse Hair and Makeup). I wore a pair of BluBetty Shoes, I am all about comfort.
Vredenheim Wine farm in a small chapel at Barrique restaurant on the farm.
Because it was a small intimate wedding we only had dinner for 25 people at Barrique restaurant at Vredenheim. I did some of the flower arrangements myself and my bouquet, as well as table flowers, were done by Fine Flowers by Lily.
The groom wore a grey suit, with a burgundy tie and we rented his suit from Mr. Suit Hire in Stellenbosch.
My bridesmaid wore a burgundy dress with lace detail from Hoiden.
Our Marriage officer was Dion Goldie from CapeWed.
We had the most amazing photographer. Matthew Carr Photography captured our special day for us.
The food was prepared by Barrique restaurant and the cake was made by Oppiekoffie Stellenbosch.
The stationary was created by Pretty Creations.
