I had a dress for the ceremony and one for the reception. The first one was very vintage with a lot of lace. Bought from Bride n co. We added a few pearls to hang on my shoulders
The second one was pretty much my dream gown. Made by Dominique Naidoo.Very different from the norm. Soft pink tulle with embroidered lace flowers sown onto it. My hair was done by myself and the make up was very natural with a bit of bronzed eyes. That was done by Lynzey Isaacs. She also did my bridesmaids make up.
Shoes were lace of course :) Bought online from Jjshouse.
We got married at Diamant estate chapel and the reception was at marlenique estate. A few guests stayed at the Simondium guest house and the rest stayed with family.
Marlenique Estate is a beautiful, yet functional venue just outside Paarl in the Simondium area of the Cape Winelands on a working Citrus Farm.
Skin was taken care of by Deluxe spa in Tygervalley. They are absolutely amazing!
Hair was treated by Behind the Scenes in Brackenfell. Wonderful ladies offering awesome service!
I pretty much did my own health and fitness regime with my husband. We trained together regularly in order to stay fit and look good for our wedding.

I was blown away by the Spa pedi! They offered 50% off for my birthday, so I was ecstatic!
I fell in love with the black and white striped look with rose gold decor. The flowers were mostly burgundy. I wanted a warm autumn feel.
Hubby was very actively involved. He painted the vintage ladder we used to put our sparkles on, he spray painted bottles and had our pictures pasted onto it. He designed our invite, our program, our menu and many of the signs.
I loved it! Our table numbers were photoshopped pictures of us as babies. Absolutely hilarious. He did those as well.
We had a photobooth, boothshoots. They were great
I hired a few items from Something borrowed and the bulk of our decor was from Functions and events. Great service and awesome prices!
Unica delivered the backdrops candycarts and a few lanterns. They really went out of their way.

The groom had a black tux on. Handsome as ever!
The groomsmen wore the white tux with black detail. They each had on special socks and different colour pocket squares to go with their partner's shoes.
My sexy husband got his suit from Eurosuits and the groomsmen hired theirs from Mr Suits at Capegate.
The ladies wore black lace dresses. Handmade by Dominique Naidoo. Each a different style. They each wore different colour shoes: pink, red, yellow and orange. They changed their for the winter pictures to wear their coral and black gumboots. Adorable.

The very gifted uncle Clement Cupido- he was my youth leader when I was young. He also did both my sisters weddings. I thought it would be nice to have him do my wedding as well to keep the tradition going.
Our videographer is the talented Mr Denshir De Koker. I've known him since I was a little girl. Our dads worked together. So that was special to have someone I know.
We made use of Boothshoots photobooth. Such fun.
