I was walking down the isle, As i looked up to my husband the tears were streaming down his face. I could not have asked for a better reaction from him...
We went to Scottburgh for 4 days.Weather wasn't great.
My Jewelry ( Necklace and earrings) was a gift from my late fathers sister. I wore a very plain guess heart shaped arm bracelet. I had quite an extravagant hair piece which was borrowed to me by my baby sister who got married 2 month prior.
I was maid of honor at my sisters wedding so we went up to JHB to attend their wedding on the 13th of April 2019.
My Wedding dress... I've always dreamt of wearing a real princess (BIG) wedding dress.
Myself and my Mother went to a china mall to find makeup brushed a day before my sisters wedding... We walked passed a small (Tiny) Bridal shop and as i peeped in, there it was, right at the back dressed on a mannequin... I knew that was my dress.... I had to try on 2 dresses as per the owners request so i chose that one and another one that was very simular, but i tried on the one chose first and i refused to try on the 2nd dress... It fitted perfectly... I fell inlove
With the dress i wore flat ballerina pumps and a red and white garter.
I had a friend do my makeup i simply couldn't afford the cost everyone was quoting me on.
My hair was done by my Maid and honor and bridemaid, they did a fantastic job.
My perfume i used was Goody two shoes.smells like heaven
we got married in a farm in ashburton, THE FARM
We actually reside on the farm aswell.
I went for one facial, things do become pricey and we (My husband and I) paid for our wedding ourselves.
My husband and i made all the decor ourselves.
For the place mats we took old LP's and painted them grey (for the men) and pink (for the ladies) this was our wedding colors. for the table decor we used wooden discs that we took from a free and sanded them and varnished, hung a white wired heart locked with a pink candle in each, we also used a succulent plant wrapped in farm style brown material.
We did the draping and candle lights ourselves along with help from my husbands god parent and his parents.
The outfits for the men all looked the same except the best men wore pink bow ties and my husband wore a grey bow tie.
The wore very stylish/elegant brown shoes, with a light grey pants, brown belt and white long sleeved shirt.
My husbands god mother enjoys sowing, and she showed me patterns and she made the dresses for me.
It was a dove grey dress with a light pink organza/Netting over , with slight diamante around the breast area
My husband knows hi,, his name was Dave and he is from hill-crest

Cakes by kershni made the cake and i decorated it myself along with my baby sister.
For our Menu we had Chicken Briyani, with dhall and cucumber salad, we had beef curry which was divine and for those who did not want spicy food we have bacon and mushroom mac and cheese
My Late father's sister made the invites for our wedding
We had a DJ from our local pub, he was awesome. We did all the lighting as i have mentioned before. We did not have ant dance lessons we just winged it.
