I was 20 mins early for my ceremony.
While sitting in the car outside the forest I grew more and more nervous.
When I finally started walking towards the forest entrance and got to the aisle to see my husband to be , Darin, standing there, every single bit of nervous energy disappear and replaced with complete calm. Everything was in slow motion and I could only see his face. Was the best moment of the whole day for me.

I went for very subtle natural make up and did a half up do that was loose but still bridal. Hair and Make up was done by Tatum from Red Lips and Hair Clips based in Durban.

We got married at the stunning Wingrove Valley Wedding Venue.

I didn't change much from my normal routine.
I was always into fitness. I mostly did crossfit before the wedding
Our decor and flowers were classic and timeless.
We went for wreath centre pieces where none matched and had only used greenery and white flowers.
We wanted different and unstructured.
Our main table were big vases with different flowers.
We had table numbers made of Lego.
To show our fun and nerdy side.
We also had name place cards laser cut and little chocolate Lego as favours.
The venue offered tables and chairs with covers.
We got the flowers from Zuluflora in Hilton
Groom wore all black.
Groomsmen wore black suits with black shirts and grey ties.

I wanted to step outside the box with my bridesmaids.
They all wore black with dresses of their own choosing.
All of their dresses were different to suit their unique body types.
Our photographer is the amazing Tammy Mcarthur from Little things Photography.
We fell in love with her storytelling style of photography.
She is really great to work with and so talented.
She uses her mom as second shooter and they make an amazing team.
We did a DIY photobooth with a selfie stick were guests could entertain themselves
