The most memorable moment of our wedding day was definitely our first dance. We danced on "Ek Sweer" from Herman Kleinhans (TWEE). A few weeks before the wedding we practiced a bit but I forget that my dress was quite big, so on the day of our wedding when we had to do our first dance it was a romantic disaster. My husband kept stepping on my dress and I remember we laughed while dancing and I kept telling my husband not to look at the floor for my dress because it will show on the photos. The guests didn't see what was happening because luckily we had a low smoke machine. It is definitely a dance we won't ever forget.
Yes we did. We had the best time on Honeymoon. We went to Afriski, Clarens and Drakensberg. Never seen snow in my life so it was a real treat. The mountains were unbelievably gorgeous!

We got married at Gracefalls Wedding and Function Venue in Pretoria, Zambezi. A beautiful rustic venue.
I went for a warm and rustic style decor. Many of the decor I did by myself at home, and all the other elements was done by Coreen from Love Beloved. Our theme was Maroon, Rose gold with a touch of Navy.
My bridesmaids wore dresses from Bride and Co.
Our marriage officer was a family friend that has a church in Sabie. It was a beautiful service.
Our photographer for the day was Chantelle van der Merwe. She really did a fantastic job! Our photos are amazing and we couldn't have asked for someone better.
Our Wedding cake was unique because we just had a small cake to cut and then we gave our guests different cookies to eat with the canapes served before the reception. Gracefalls made the cake and cookies for us.
Our reception was such fun. The time went by so fast. Our DJ was amazing, he really knew how to read the crowd and tp keep them going till late. We used EMC Productions.
