I wanted a natural look, but with a big statement dress. Both hair and make-up was done by Allure Makeup by Lize. She listened to what me requests where and did exactly that. I felt like a princes on my wedding day. The Wedding Dress was bought at Euro Bride, and was made especially for me in Europe and when I finally went for my fitting, it was perfect. I bought my shoes at Aldo, and Jewelry at Lovisa - I was lucky enough that I found exactly what had in mind.
We got married at Rus Tevrede Guest Lodge in the Dinokeng Nature Reserve. Both me and my husband love animals and nature, so when we found this place we knew it was perfect. The hosts (Chrissie and Clemens) was Incredible. They made sure that everything was perfect and that my wedding day happened without a glitch.
I had no beauty regime actually. Just drank A LOT of water, and made sure to keep calm and as stress free as I could possible be. I went to have highlights put in my hair 2 days before the wedding, and had my nails done as well.
The decor and flowers were simple but yet gorgeous. We used white roses, gyps, desert roses and silver dollar eucalyptus, which was done by a family friend as a wedding gift to us. We rented all the decor, tables, chairs, cutlery and crockery at Vergeet-My-Nie Decor Hire in Centurion. The tent we rented from Stretch & Decor. The Lighting was provided by our DJ's in the package that we took.
Both the Groom and and his brother (Best Man) wore nay suites that they already owned.
My Bridesmaids wore navy infinity dresses, that we made ourselves. Because both of them have very different body types, and we wanted something that they can wear again, we decided on infinity dresses.

Louisa and Francois Olivier from Wanitta's Photography captured our wedding day. They were incredible. They made sure that every detail was captured, and that everyone felt at ease. Also, they made sure that they were never in the way of anyone, but then they would be bust taking photos somewhere else. They also did the video of the wedding.
I did all the planning and coordination of my wedding myself, with some help from family and friends.
We stayed at the venue, so there was no transport needed.
We made use of a catering company Chef's Mandjie. The owner Christo knows his stuff. He listened to what we had in mind and made suggestions. Our guests are still talking about how good the food was.
My mom and her sisters baked the wedding cake and the dessert cupcakes.
We made use of DQ Graphic Design for the design and electronic documents and I did the printing myself
We had the reception under a big marquee tent, with a dance floor that we hired for the evening. Our DJ (V & E Entertainment) helped us with the hire of the dance floor. My husband is a dance instructor so he choreographed the wedding dance, but when he saw the wedding dress, we improvised the dance because the wedding dress would not allow some of the moves we practiced. :) The sound and lighting was also done through our DJ.
