We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful sunny autumn day and breath-taking, picturesque landscape!
Our Wedding day was a dream come true!
From the emotional ceremony, saying our own vows to each other; to sharing our first moments together as Husband and Wife on our creative photoshoot in most beautiful "golden hour" sunset!
There was just so much love and happiness shared with our loved ones on our special day. <3
Our first overseas trip together as Hubby & Wife was to one of the places that had been on my bucket list for so long – GREECE!
After the chaos leading up to the Wedding, the beautiful island of Ios is where we chose to spend most of our downtime.
Ios, Greece is just so beautiful! From the tiny whitewashed houses, narrow cobblestone alleys, picturesque cliff top villages, and of course, the mesmerizing Ios beaches! We had the most amazing honeymoon! <3
My Wedding dress is a design from Viola Chan, at Bride & Co. I instantly fell in love with it as it was exactly what I had in mind - a V-neck mermaid lace gown with delicate crystal beading and a low lacey back.
It fit me perfectly, with no alterations needed. It was THE ONE!
Tammy from PRO-makeup did my Bridal hair & makeup for my Wedding. She made my Bridesmaids and I look absolutely beautiful and flawless with her airbrushing technique!
For my makeup I opted for a subtle, natural look. My hairstyle was inspired by Pinterest, an elegant look with soft flowing waves and baby's breath. Tammy was so amazing to work with and helped set a calm and happy atmosphere throughout the morning.
Something Old: Swarovski crystal tennis bracelet that my now-husband bought me for my Birthday one year
Something New: Pearl drop earrings from Bride & Co. and beige wedge heels from YDE.
Something Borrowed: Pearl ring from my Sister
Something Blue: Blue lace garter from Bridal Mall Couture in Durban North

I used a few treatments leading up to our wedding...
Firstly, my skin was kept clear and radiant using Environ products and weekly exfoliating and peel off masks.
I used Cocobaci teeth whitening kit leading up to the Wedding, which is all natural and had brilliant results.
To get my tan on I had a Caribbean tan at Bella Day Spa in Hillcrest.
I won a full body massage and exfoliation treatment from Talloula Spa which I enjoyed the week before the Wedding.
My nails were done by Shalmadene at Nail Ink in Westville.
To look the best I could for our special day, I stuck to a high protein, low-carb diet and did group Pilates classes with Power Pilates in Durban North. The alternative days I did 5km runs to get some cardio in.
Kerry from Kerry's Flowers & Decor based in PMB did our flowers and Decor for our Wedding.
The colour scheme for my Wedding was dusty blue, cream and greenery. I wanted to portray elegance through minimalism with a chic-country feel.
I just loved the soft grey-blue colours brought in from the penny gym foliage.
Kerry was so lovely to work with and made our Wedding stress-free with the last minute things we required!
We were blown away by what was delivered on the day - she really went above and beyond expectations!
The bouquets and flower arrangements looked absolutely stunning and so elegant. We received SO many compliments from our guests!
The Groom and Groomsmen hired their suits from Suit-up in Westville.
Claire was so lovely and helpful with kitting out the guys with such stylish navy blue suits and ties!
The Bridesmaid's dresses were made by Kameo designs at YDE.

My Bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning!
Richard Erasmus married us and his wife Cindy did our Wedding Ceremony.
We met them at our pre-marital course held at the Westville Baptist church and were delighted to have them part of our special day.
It was such a meaningful and heartfelt ceremony.
From walking down the aisle and saying our vows to one another, it had us and our guests in tears!
Stephen from Stephen Railton Photography did our Engagement shoot, Wedding photographs and Videography.
He captured our special day so perfectly and his care, creativity, passion and attention to detail was evident in every shot.

Our Wedding cake was made by Marezelda from Cake Matters in the Midlands.
She made us a beautiful 3-tier cake with 3 different flavours: Vanilla, carrot cake and Champagne - each tier was absolutely delicious!
All my Wedding Stationery was designed by myself with the help from my Sister.
I made a digital website for our wedding invitations on theKnot.com which worked amazingly with providing all the details and keeping tabs of guests who had RSVP'd.
My Ceremony programmes and other stationery were printed at The Printroom in Kloof.
My husband and I also made a lot of DIY wooden boards and we had the vinyl printed and applied by our friend Carl.
We used Allan from DJ Worx for our sound and music.
The entire day ran so smoothly, and the music was perfect for the feel of the day right from the pre-drinks, during the meals and before the speeches. He managed to read the crowd so well - The dance floor was pumping the rest of the night!
My Hubby and I learnt a little dance routine off YouTube for our First dance to Perfect by Ed Sheeran. We practiced this on a weekly basis and were very happy to have learnt how to dance without standing on each others feet!
