My most memorable moment was the first step I took down the isle, seeing my husband waiting for me as my dad walked me down the isle.I got so emotional that I shed a tear.
We didn't go to honeymoon as my husband had to go back to work in the next 3days after the wedding.
Elegance was the order of the day. My hair and makeup was done by Conscious Makamu from Nitlekani Hair & beauty in Midrand. The wedding dress and shoes by Top Bridal in Jhb South. I bought my lingerie from Woolworths. I'm not into jewellery so the only silverware I wore was my earrings which I also bought at Top bridal.
We got married at Brits Town Hall and my guests slept over at Maroela guest house in Brits.
6 months prior to the wedding I had to do some light routine exercises at SAB gym in Alrode. For my skin I had to buy skin products from Mokgele-Wa-Phenyo beauty salon in Elandsrand that is being run by my pastor Aaron Motlhasedi. This really worked for me as my skin had some spots and blemishes but 2months prior to the wedding, my skin was flawless. I did my spa treatments at 4Seasons Health Spa in Hartebeespoortdam.
The decor, furniture, stage and lighting was done by Maggie Molotsane catering in Brits. We got the flowers and bouquets from Lolly M flowers in Soshanguve.
The groom wore a beige and navy Dorman suit provided by Parktown Suits in Pretoria which also provided all the accessories for him. The groomsmen wore navy suits, white shirts with pink ties from Exclusive suits in Pta Central. We bought all the groomsmen shoes from Franco Cerrato in Carlton centre Jhb.
As an event coordinator myself, I had to ensure that everything about my bridesmaids reflect perfection at its best. Their first dresses were plain long pink with silver shoes. The second dresses were black & gold dresses with gold shoes.
Our marriage officer was my pastor Prophet Aaron Motlhasedi
The photographer was my cousin, Mr Steve Segone from Orchards in Pta and the videography was done by Anama MultiMedia in Midrand. We didn't use any photo booths
The wedding planning and coordination was done by Adorn by Pauline M in Alberton......of which I'm the founder.
The cars were supplied by Mrs Mpho & Mr Godfrey Masilela @ Bophelo Pele MC in Kempton Park. .......
