We went on honeymoon the Monday after our wedding to the amazing Bali. It was the most beautiful and relaxing holiday. Such a beautiful honeymoon destination.
My best friend and hairdresser from (thea's hair studio) did my hair. We wanted to do something soft but elegant so we ended up with a half up half down curl updo. My make up was done by Amy-Leigh Carstens. I wanted to do a natural look for my make up.
My wonderful dress was made by Rene H Couture. Rene did such a great job at giving me exactly what I wanted, a mermaid style wedding dress with a beautiful laced train.
My jewelry was a gift from my husband that matches my wedding ring. My wedding jewelry is from Swarovski.
A few months before our big day I was doing at home facials at least once a week to get my face looking fresh and moisturized. A week before our wedding I went for a full body massage and facial at Aurora beauty and wellness spa. I exercise 3-4 times a week as normal.
My wedding flowers was done by Lindie from Fynbosch flora. We used our colors of the wedding (burgundy & white). We also incorporated proteas to the flower arrangements and bouquet as the protea is a special flower to us both. We rented our decor from 2 Places - Hugo party hire and Something borrowed. We rented lanterns to arrange flowers in the lantern for the centerpieces and rose gold candle holders. I wanted to keep it minimalistic and romantic with the candles.
The groom bought his suit from Woolworths and his accessories from a online shopping site. The groomsmen suits was hired from Eurosuit and their accessories was also from a online shopping site.
The bridesmaids wore elegant but simple soft pink dresses and they bought their dresses from Thruworths. They picked out their own dresses to fit them comfortably.

Karin Huckfeldt was our amazing photographer, she and the second photographer Maritha Louw did such a wonderful job at capturing our special moment. I was so super happy with the work they did and how comfortable they made us feel on the day aswell all the effort they did.
We did not have a wedding planner me and my mom did everything ourselves.
Neethlingshof provided and prepared our food. Our cake was made by Lisa from oh koek.
I designed and printed all our stationery for our wedding.
We wanted to keep the formals of the reception short enough so our guests can enjoy the party. The food was amazing by Neethlingshof chef's itself, we had a buffet so there was more than enough food for our guests. Everyone enjoyed the music, the DJ Gerhard from The Party Technician really did an amazing job by picking up the vibe from the guests to play the right music at the right time.
