The most memorable moment for me was when I walked down the aisle. My heart was racing so fast before I walked down the aisle, I was so nervous and emotional while the doors were closed. Once the doors open, every single person in the Chapel was looking at me, but then my Dad and Mom looked at me and I just knew that they are extremely happy for me. While walking down the aisle, my dad made me feel at ease, we even started laughing.
Ughard just looked at us and started to smile. As we came closer to Ughard I told him that I've missed him so much and he looks so handsome in this blue suit, since we promised not to see or talk to each other a week before the wedding.
Ughard was really good at keeping this a secret from me, I only found out at the airport that we were going to Phuket in Thailand. I was so surprised because this was our first time going overseas.
I really just wanted to feel comfortable and the look that I was going for was just the normal old me.
My hair and make-up were done by Rosa-Lea Make-up Artistry, which I must say did an amazing job. I found my gorgeous wedding dress at Chiqwawa bridal couture and my I bought my shoes from Steve Madden. The jewellery that I wore was both from my grandmothers. My earrings were my something borrowed and my necklace was something old that my grandmother wore on her wedding day, it was a gift from my grandfather on their wedding day.
We've got married at "de Harte venue" in Pretoria, which is the most beautiful wedding venue!
Our photographer for the day was Tessa Kruger Photography. She did an awesome job to capture our perfect day.
My mom was my wedding planner, she kept me so calm throughout everything! She is definitely my rock and I'm so grateful that she helped me plan the most important day of my life. Love you mom!!
