What a beautiful day it was all the months of planning came to reality and was way better than I ever imagined and God was in the centre of it all! So many special moments shared and so much excitement and rush through it all! It was an amazing experience and I had all my close family and friends to share it with us!
No we were not able to go on honeymoon unfortunately.
My wedding dress was pre loved and I fell in love right away after days of looking a beautiful lace mermaid style with a sweetheart neckline and a beautiful train that you could button up whenever you wanted to.
My wedding hair and make up was definitely my style plain simple and beautiful!
I had white Rose's with babys breath and these sweet diamond pins in my hair with a simple medium veil to match.
I had my ceremony in my church I grew up in and was born into it was a special moment for me and our reception was at the beautiful Secret Garden Venue in pmb. They had amazing food and such a BEAUTIFUL venue with amazing photo opportunities that we took advantage of.
the week of the wedding i went for a small massage to get a bit more relaxed before the big day i had my eyebrows down and i had a waxing done to as well as an amazing facial that left my skin feeling flawless.
Our Decor was plain and simple too. White Rose's or rose petals lanterns with candles everywhere beautiful T and I big light letters. White carpet with rose petals to walk down the aisle. The venue had draping and fairy lights included as an option which we chose. Simple and rustic or vintage decor at church as well. Lots of white Rose's and greenery used. Simple menu with ribbon tied and a small piece of greenery to give it a special look and feel. My decor was done by Weddings and Finctions By Jackie.
They found there suits at this suit place based in China Mall as he just couldnt find what he was looking for in the many shops they went shopping. It was a light grey suit with a baby blue greyish tie with a buttonhole (white flowers and greenery)
My bridesmaids wore a long flow dress with a small ribbon belt and a lace bodice which was made for them and they came out so beautiful. they had babys breath in their upstyle hair do. I searched many months and days to find the perfect look for my bridesmaids.
My marriage officer was my grandfather. He is the pastor of our church - our church is very family based as well we are very involved - My grandfather married my mother and now he got to marry is grandaughter - such a special moment my heart my gleeming
We had a photobooth at the reception which guests enjoyed alot. Our wedding photographer was amazing and has such talent! I'm in love with my wedding photos she did such a great job. I had 2 wedding photographers and she was willing to travel as she is based in Port Edward. Chenique Slier Photography. I'm so in love with the way the photos came out STUNNING!
No I planned my wedding right down to the last and most simple detail.
The Reception Venue catered our wedding meal. And our cake was made by a lady based in pmb as she was recommended by our reception venue and it was such an amazing cake and tasted even better!
We didnt have any dance lessons. we had a dj who supplied small laser colourful lights and then the reception venue had fairylights all around the venue.
