I was a lucky girl in the sense that i got to have 2 weddings. Marrying a Muslim guy I had my Nikah on Friday, 12/04/2019, and the Reception in the evening as well as my "White" reception on Sunday, 04/04/2019. Both days felt like they flew by but spending so much time with family and friends celebrating life and our union was such a blessing. Watching all our nearest and dearest take the days in and enjoying everything that was on offer was so rewarding.
We just did a "Mini" Road trip to the North West Province and Gauteng. Sightseeing and taking in what our beautiful country has to offer.
On the Friday, I went for a more traditional eastern look as it was the Muslim Reception. My hair and make-up was done by a close relative, my bridal Lehenga was purchased at Nisaa's in Phoenix, Durban, My wedding shoes were purchased from Kingsmead shoes in Gateway shopping Centre, Jewelry was provided by Family.
On the Sunday, i wanted the more Classic Bride Look as it was my "White" Reception. I wore i classic A- line wedding dress, hired from Wedding Whisperers in Pheonix, My shoes were purchased from Kingsmead Shoes in Gateway Shopping Centre, Jewelery was my something new gift from my parents, Hair was done by Beauty Beyond by Claudette, Make-Up was done by my Cousin, Angelic Steyn.
Friday, 12/04/2019 the Nikah Reception was held at the Al Ameen Masjid Hall in Phoenix, Durban.
Sunday, 14/04/2019 the Traditional Reception was held at Collisheen Estate, Orchid House in Ballito, Durban.
