The 23d of March will forever be the beginning of a beautiful love story. The most memorable moment is walking down the aisle, but not looking up. The moment I finally looked up and saw him, I cried. Knowing he was my forever truly just put my entire life into perspective.
We went on an amazing honeymoon to Plettenberg Bay
I went for a vintage boho feel. A custom dress by Joss Bridal gave me beautiful dotted lace, long Elvish sleeves, Chantilly Lace at the bodice and lace finishes at the bottom.y veil was looped and amazingly soft. Rayen Coetzee was my hairstylist with an upside down bun, curls and loose pieces. My beautiful rose gold hair piece rounded my hair and veil off perfectly. My makeup was done by the amazing Stay Make Up artist who travelled FROM Pretoria.
We got married at Boschrand Game Lodge outside Winburg in the Freestate. It has an amazing vibe, bush chapel and reception venue. The accommodation was spectacular and the food amazing.
We spent the Tuesday before the wedding at African Stone Day Spay in Bloemfontein. I used regular face masks and AP24 whitening toothpaste. I treated my hair regularly and went for a decent color a few weeks before.
Most decor was hand made by my mother. Very green, earthy and filled with Pennygum and Gyps. Wood underplates made a statement with a great naked cake. We had dreamcathers, leaf wreaths and rustic decor.
My handsome husband wore a Bride and Co navy suit with a beautiful printed tie. The groomsmen wore dark jeans with a shirt and suspenders. Each received a wooden badge from Laser Link
My bridesmaids wore beautiful light powder blue dresses with a sequins top. One had a floor length dress and the other a above the knee dress.

It was a total DIY wedding.
Boschrand Game Lodge catered for our wedding. All the guests were so happy and the flavors were so good.
Sound Bytes Bloemfontein were our DJ's. They were extremely professional and their website was so easy to use and allowed us to make our music selections easily.
