Some of the memorable moments of my wedding day, was prior to the wedding. The morning getting ready at my friends house...it was really so much fun...The snacks, the music, the laughing....and the champagne. I really had an awesome start. And driving to the venue, my best friend took me.... our favourite music and song blaring and getting me ready for the best day of my life....the rest was perfect!
We planned our wedding, so that it would be during our annual leave. We went to Rheenendal, Knysna and then Witsand...It was so much fun...At the first place, we received some bedtime spray...i still have some left and every now and then at night I will spray it, reminding us of the first few days of our honeymoon! Witsand was just to relax and for my new husband to go fishing.
Our wedding was next to the sea, so the decor was very light, pastel colours with lots of perspex and glass. Hair was tied to the side and curls touching my shoulder, dress was strapless, tight corset type and a big flair out bottom. Shoes, the bridesmaids and myself all wore the same shoes...rose gold sneakers...I loved it! Make up was shiny purple, and my lash extensions had blue lashes in, for my something blue. I wore a bracelet and earrings as something borrowed.... I decided not to wear a necklace as the dress didn't need it. Top part was beautiful already! I have a small stretcher in my left ear, bought a special stretcher with "diamonds" for my wedding day...absolutely loved it! Skin treats in Langebaan and Hair unlimited did my make up and hair.
Wedding was at Sea trader. Guests that stayed over stayed at St Helenabay Hotel
Just ate healthy before the wedding and drank lots of water, did not really need to loose more weight. I was happy with my current size. Had my teeth cleaned before the wedding, my husband too. We both went for back massages, facials, brow waxed etc. He also went for a pedicure. I went for a manicure also. Skin Treats Langebaan did everything except for my nails. Abbys beauty did my nails.
Decor and Flowers were not too heavy, flowers were light colours...rose gold candles, all rented and done by Elmarie from West coast Event Shed. Table numbers and seating chart, welcome board, Sweet table, and wishes and gifts boards all made from Perspex. Made by various people. Purple Dash did the 2 biggest boards.
Blue pants, white shirts, blue suspenders, greyish bowt-ties and brown shoes. The groom bought his suit at Markhams. The groomsmen hired their outfits from Suit Hire. Suspenders bought from So Smitten and Bow-ties and ties for the fathers, bought from Twill.
Bridesmaids wore a camisole kind of white satin shirt, with a Sage Tule skirt. Made by Made of Honour

Food was done by Sea Trader. Cake, I had chocolate cupcakes and lemingtons made by Nelita from Pretty Bakes. Elmarie from Event Shed stacked the cake stand.

Took dance classes from Swiftly Dance Co in Langebaan. We had a family friend that is a DJ do our sound, he unfortunately passed away about a month after our wedding... :(. DJ did the sound. Had fairy light we put up ourself. No other lights.
