I know it sounds cliche but honestly every moment was a highlight for me. Our wedding was definitely the best day of my life. I loved seeing the emotion on my groom's face when I walked down the aisle, our first kiss, sharing communion together as a married couple, my groom's tear jerking speech, our surprise first dance, our wedding shoe game and just enjoying being in the moment with each other and celebrating with our loved ones.
Yes, it was absolutely incredible. We went to the Maldives (Malahini Kudo Bandos and Rheeti Faru island resorts).
My maid of honour did my hair (a side, low, fancy bun) and my sister did my makeup (subtle lilac eyes). I got my wedding dress at the pop up sale at the Oakfield farm wedding expo. The dress was originally from Crystal Brides, who did all the alterations. My veil was my mom's that she used for her wedding. My shoes were bought by my mom from Boskruin Village. My hubby bought my earrings from Lovisa and my bracelet from Swarovski.
Avianto wedding venue. Our bridal party stayed the night but there is plenty of amazing accommodation at Avianto Hotel for your guests to stay.
Mainly anything that my sister recommended that I do, she's the beauty expert not me ;)
Annelu from Event Inspirations did a superb job with our decor and white table flowers. My incredible hubby made tree branches entangled with fairy lights for the centre pieces on the guest tables. We had a large mirror in the centre of the guest tables with the tree branches on it. We had 4 medium sized cylinders around the mirror, 2 with small flower posies and 2 with
lit tealight candles. We had turquoise tie backs on silver tiffany chairs. We used the standard crockery, cutlery, white table cloths and napkins with a turquoise serviette ring for each guest. We had a beautiful flower table runner on our main table with different sized cylinders with turquoise water in front of our main table. We also had fairy lights on the roof, around the pillars, on the balcony and a backdrop with fairy lights behind the main table. My special mom did our beautiful personal flowers which were mainly white with some turquoise.
My groom and his groomsmen wore matching dark grey suits from Euro Suit. Their ties and pocket squares were from Twill. They all wore their own black shoes that they already had.
My bridal party wore turquoise, full length, holter neck dresses made by iCandee. We added diamante belts from China Mall to the dresses and white pumps from Jet.
Keith Westberg (Our previous youth pastor).
Brightmoon photography and videography. We enjoyed working with them very much throughout the day and our guests loved the photobooth.
Our wedding coordinator was Jacee-Lee from Avianto. She was a massive help to us, both before and on the day.
We used our own personal transport.
The incredible food was made by Avianto. Elli from The Turquoise Squirrel Patisserie made our stunning wedding cake.
We designed our own stationary but ordered it from Rustic Laser Art and Laser Link.
Yes we did dancing lessons at Dance Cafe, they were lots of fun. Our DJ was awesome - Shaun from Downright DJs.
