Walking down the aisle and seeing faces full of joy looking back at me and then... seeing my husband take a deep breath in awe! It was most certainly a day to remember as a perfect culmination of East meets west starting off with a gorgeous catholic mass followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony.
One of the perfect honeymoon destinations.... Bali.
Our wedding took place over a full 3 days! Starting from Friday I was dressed in traditional Indian attire (mint and blush pink) with a subtle natural make up look. My church gown was purchased from Mumbai, India and tailored in Durban. Made from raw silk and hand stitched brass embroidery... this gown was perfect for the first part of my wedding giving me an Italian Catholic bride look. My traditional Indian outfit was also purchased from India, deep red satin with gold beadwork and embroidery. I was dressed by Mark and Clint designs and all jewelry and hairstyles where executed with perfection.
We were married at St Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Durban and then at the Shree Emperumal temple in Mount Edgecombe.
Lots and lots of water with regular boot camp exercise at Silverback MMA & Boxing gym. I went on a 5 day juice and detox diet from the juice kitchen in Ballito. For the lack of sleep I used compensate with cucumbers placed on my eyes for 30 min every day for a week.
Exquisite finishes added the perfect rustic touch to our reception. Raw wooden trestles tables with glass base plates and floral detail. CS Productionz added the softness to the airhanger venue with parcans which where placed around the venue. They handled the detail of all our sound, lighting and DJ requirements.
Huni B events management handled the full coordination for the entire weekend.
The Chef Boyz catered for our reception. We decided to have a very chilled, informal vibe so we went for a spit braai set up.
