My highlight was definitely seeing the love of my life at the end of the aisle. Sharing that special day with my close family and friends. Another highlight would be our first dance as husband and wife.

My shoes were a very simple dusty rose colour with a short heel, because my husband and I both didn’t want me be taller than him.

We got married at Oakfield Farm in Muldersdrift, my dream venue since I was 19 years old. I loved the foresty fairytale feel that the venue gives off. My bridal party stayed at oakfield farm guesthouse and family and close friends stayed at Random Harvest Guesthouse about 3 min from the venue.

I tried lash extensions but I wasn’t a fan of them and they actually started a skin irritation, so I took them off. I kept my beauty regime the same as everyday, I believe the more natural the more beautiful. Just be you.
Our decor was simple yet elegant, a lot of greenery and faithful roses. My husband and I love rose gold and used it in every way possible; candles, geometric wire shape centre pieces. The lighting was a beautiful chandelier, and fairy lights hanging from the roof.
Our photographer was Sam Supra, we were so lucky to have her... she captured every single moment. We felt so comfortable with her & the photos came out so calmly stunning and exactly what we wanted.
After getting engaged we had our wedding 3 months later. I did not use a wedding planner, I decided to do it all myself and make it the most spectacular day no matter how little time I had and that’s exactly what I did.
We never took dance lessons, I choreographed the dance myself and we had so much fun practicing it. Our DJ was Sean Tucker and he turned it into a real party where everyone was dancing and having the times of their lives.
