I have to start with getting ready with my Mom and my Bridesmaids ..my Girls :) They handed me a beautiful silver box with my something old, new, borrowed and something blue(pink in my case)..Toasting to the Big Day and then making our way to the ceremony.
My husband to be sent me the most beautiful note and a little present..it surely calmed my nerves and made me even more excited to become his wife..
Seeing my Husband to be looking Extra Handsome and Dashing dressed in his Custom Tux.. I fell in love with each step I took towards him.
Our Bridal party .. they looked stunning in their custom couture gowns and tailored tuxedos. It was important for us to make them feel and look good on this momentous day .
The Theme of our Ceremony (Agape Love) and exchanging our personal written vows while some of our favourite songs set the tone in the background .
Lighting candles in memory of our late Fathers was another special moment for us .
Another highlight leading up to our Big Day was the effort our Guests put in to look the part for our Black Tie Themed wedding.. and Wow ..they all looked and felt Red Carpet Ready . From the moment they arrived on The Estate till the 19th last round at the bar in the early hours of the morning... Its safe to say .. they had a Jol !

We were Tourists in every sense of the word and explored all the area has to offer..

The most comfortable shoes picked by my eldest brother .. Diamantè strappy Rose Gold Heels from Sandy's Shoe Box .. i wore them the entire day !

I love floral fragrances !! I wore Crush by Rihanna.. a blend of bergamot, mandarin, pink pepper, ylang-ylang, patchouli, creamy musk and cedar .. its soft and seductive !! A Gift by my Brother .
I got married at the spectacular Tuscan Rose estate on the outskirts of Bloemfontein.
This Tuscan inspired Villa transports you to ancient Italy with it's Roman palatial architecture, white rose gardens and fountains.
This dreamy venue coupled with the exceptional service and guest experience provided by Mrs Veronica Williams, her family and her team.
Ourselves, close friends and family stayed over at their whimsical Honeymoon suite and guest rooms. We had a delicious brunch the morning after at the Coffee shop on the estate
I drank a lot of water, did my normal facial routine..DO NOT TRY NEW PRODUCTS 2 MONTHS OR LESS BEFORE THE WEDDING!!
I tried to eat less starch and sugar, more vegetables and fruit. Light exersizes 3 times a week, because you don't want to do harsh diets and look like a skeleton on your big day.
I went for a manicure and pedicure, had my nails done and all the waxing 2 days before the wedding @ La Zavier Day Spa in my Hometown of Douglas.
I used a teeth whitening toothpaste to help whiten my teeth
My color sceme was blush pink, rosegold/gold, with touches of cream feathers, chandeliers and vases of pink roses on the table..i reccomend minimal flowers to save on costs.
Soft pink and purple hues of lightning set the ambiance beautifully

The Groom and Groomsmen's Tuxedos was designed and made by Erland Adams @ Kasi Fleva in Bloemfontein.
My Groom had 2 custom made tuxedos.
A dark blue tuxedo with a crisp white shirt, black suede bow tie and dark blue suede loafers for the ceremony. He changed into the black tuxedo jacket for the reception.
The Groomsmen wore a custom made pink silk tuxedo jackets, black tuxedo pants, crisp white shirts, black silk bow ties and monk strap brown ombre leather shoes.
Erland Adams and his crew really did a phenomenal job!!
I bought the Groom and groomsmen accessories and gifts at Wedding Perfect Ballito, cufflinks, personalized flasks and pocket knives with their names and date of the wedding carved out - found them on Facebook.
My Matron of Honor's dress was a baby pink flowy a-line dress with 3D hand embroidered flowers with a small train at the back, designed and made by Gerhardt Shebe
I got the inspiration for my Bridesmaids dresses from Pinterest. Layers of soft pink material, with a pink silk and a grey chiffon overlay. It had 3D flowers and crystals embroidered on the boddess and silk pink ties at the shoulders with pink silk ribbons - Designed and made by Caren Thys of Caren-Jo Couture in Postmasburg, Northern Cape... Wow they looked whimsical!!
Makeup was done by Thato MUA..she did all 6 bridesmaids makeup...FLAWLESS!!
Our Marriage officer was a close friend, Ebrahim Kordom..the Ceremony was heartfelt and so beautiful, all the guests was so taken by the sermon that went out..Agape Love
Our mother's did a lighting of our unifying candle as a symbol of leaving our mother's house and beginning our new family together.
We also had our first communion together as husband and wife, where we fed each other bread and wine as a symbol of taking care of each other and our family.
Naomi Mathys cerinated us with a very special song that my husband loves..her performances at both the ceremony and reception had our guests in AWE!!

My ride was a Black Mercedes-Benz C Class AMG with a cream feather, a family friend drove me, Uncle Enslin Minny..he was my father part of the wedding :-)
The Bridesmaids ride was a Silver Grey Mercedes-Benz Viano.
The food was done by Tuscan Rose itself, 4 different canapes served in a Martini glass with 2 different kinds of cocktails. Mains was a feast and dessert a spread of 3 different kinds of dessert heaven.
My wedding Cake was a 3 tier Cake with gold and flower printed edable paper rounded of with pink sugar flowers consisting of a fruit cake, carrot cake and chocolate ganache cake - done by Carrie's Cookies and Candy
The cake was setup in a smaller room with glass doors.. It was setup in the middle with jars of different candy surrounding it..Inspiration came from Pinterest
My Maid of Honor and very good friend designed and printed my invites and program, it was soft yet very elegantly done.
She also made my digital wedding invite, it was very professionally done - Alethea Magermann
The reception was so amazing, one big party from where ourselves and our entourage entered on an up beat song and danced into the whee hours of the morning.
We took dance lessons and had a choreographed Waltz on Lionel Richie's, Three Times a Lady - Deandre Pietersen, a professional ballroom dancer from Douglas was our dance instructor.
We used the inhouse DJ and he really kept everybody on their feet the whole night.
Tuscan Rose did the lightening as well and it set the ambiance perfectly..
