Our wedding day was absolutely PERFECT!
JC and I got married on 14 December 2019 at Utopia Place. There was an absolute peace over us throughout the entire day. From the moment we laid our eyes on each other from either sides of the aisle, we couldn't stop smiling or looking at the other.
Everything went by so fast! But the memories we made were impeccable! We were (and are still) so madly in love, a more perfect couple still has to cross our path.
Our wedding day was a day we will forever treasure and never forget!
We spent a week in Durban at the Blue Marlin Hotel. Everyday was an exciting adventure of exploring and trying new things.
I went for the whole fairytale look, from hair to make-up to my dress. Simple yet elegant. My hair and makeup was done by Cecile at Hair by Cecile, wedding dress and shoes were bought at bride & co, my jewelery was extremely special. I wore matching necklace and earrings that my mom was buried in earlier in 2019 and a bracelet that JC had made for me with our names and wedding date on
We were supposed to get married at Sorex Estate in Centurion but it was around the time the entire Centurion flooded. So we moved our venue (literally 3 days before our wedding) to Utopia place
Literally nothing.....no diets, no plans, nothing! Hahaha
Decor was done by Accolades decor. And boy did they do an EXCELLENT job! It was exactly what I've always wanted!
JC and his groomsmen all got their suits at eurosuits.... At the very last minute, might I add... JC wore a lighter shade of blue with a silver tie and undercoat, the other men wore nave suits, bestman wore a pink tie and the other 2 turquoise.
The girls chose their own style. They had their dresses made at The Maiden. My maid of honor wore pink and the other 2 turquoise.

I didn't have a planner. Planned everything myself. Until 3 days before, then Juanita Beukes took over. She planned Bryan Habana's wedding.....
I was lucky enough to be driven to church in my parents in laws BMW (I needed as much space as I could get with my biiiiiiig dress)
Everything was prepared by Utopia Place / Union Caterers. The food was absolutely AMAZING! Never have I ever had such delicious food at a wedding!
My brother Dylan did all the design, from invites to board...... Everything!
We didn't have any dance lessons....our first song was "ons word een" from Juan Boucher. It was a JOL! We had so much fun! Our DJ was Clint's DJs. They really did a great job keeping the crowd interested!
